This refrigerator cools fine but is very noisy. We got a second refrigerator sent out thinking the first was defective but the replacement is also noisy.

It is not energy star, but it is way better than the LG that it replaced. We had constant problems with LG. This freezer keeps things frozen.

The freezer door seal has not worked since day one. The magnet is simply too weak. When I close the bottom door, it causes the freezer door to open. Each time I close the freezer, I have to push it hard to shut it, yet it still builds up frost inside. I contacted Maytag and spent countless hours on the phone. They sent a technician five times and replaced the seal three times, but the problem persists. Two different technicians informed the manufacturer that the freezer seal was malfunctioning, but Maytag's technician refused to declare the freezer defective. I had to involve an attorney before they finally agreed to take it back. The quality is unacceptable.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this refrigerator 1 year and 3 weeks ago . 2 days ago, i noticed puddles of water and now i cant get the temperature below 50 degrees. I called maytag service and since i am 3 weeks past the 1 year warranty , I am on the hook for labor charges . Only the compressor part would be covered. Really regretting this maytag purchase.
