Spend over $1,500 on any applIance and you should get perfection, not something worse than the older model you are replacing. Two irritating problems with this Maytag refrigerator replacing one that still worked well but had a dated beige color. The new model 1) Will not open without pulling so hard it moves on its wheels, for both doors. 2) Is irritatingly louder than the 14 year old one it replaced.

I've had the refrigerator for a month. I like the look, feel and finger resistant stainless steel. It feels solid and operates quietly. Flexible storage options and storage space. Like the half shelves, though the shelf back center supports restrict movement of items left or right. Like having the big gallon shelf at the bottom of door which is accomplished by having the deli draw the same depth as the vegetable/fruit draws. Like the bright lighting system that lights up the whole refrigerator and draw compartments. The freeze is good size with flexible storage options. My only dislikes: can't remove ice-maker, and deli/vegetable/fruit compartments are kind of cheap (wish they were on rollers instead of just sliding).

It's attractive. Louder at times than our old one. The hanging drawers inside are too flimsy for a machine that cost this much. Must really always handle the long drawer gingerly and with two hands. But it seems to cool well. Longevity is a question and a hope. It's just been less than a month. I read in reviews that on the extended warranty service contract, Best Buy sends you to Maytag. So I bought both contracts from Maytag and from Best Buy. Need to be covered in case a problem arises. Would be four stars if I had it four years already.0

So while i do love it the one negative i have is the freezer. I didn’t want the wire baskets. I googled a video on the model and it showed the hard plastic in the freezer. That’s not what showed up at my house after 5 weeks of waiting. In the picture it also shows the handles as SS on the white fridge but they are white. It’s mostly silent so that’s a major plus.

I love this new refrigerator! I have had it for about a month and love having everything in the refrigerator at eye level--makes it very easy to locate any item. Also, the pantry drawer is so convenient for storing all my cheeses and meats. The refrigerator door is very spacious, having lots of room for gallons of milk, sodas, condiments, etc. The freezer makes an abundance of ice--have yet to run out, unlike we were always doing with our old Sears side-by-side. The freezer is very spacious and easy to organize. The entire refrigerator keeps a perfect temp--ice cream stays frozen but not rock hard, and nothing freezes in the refrigerator--just stays good and cold. The fingerprint-resistant surface really does not show fingerprints and is very easy to clean with a soft damp cloth. Best purchase I have made in a long time.

The dimensions are true to size, it fit perfectly into our space. The water line for the ice maker was a breeze to hookup. The non-finger print stainless steel was a bit darker than expected. Plenty of room inside with just enough shelving.

Was looking for a fridge that was made in the USA, but had very strict measurement requirements, so a French door model would not work (which seems to cover most US built models). Wanted something large enough to meet our growing family needs, and we completely lucked out finding this bottom freezer model that just cleared our measurements. We have been using this for a month or more, and find it to work very well, and does so quietly. Finger prints are rare with the resistant stainless steel, and any that appear wipe off very easily. This is a good looking, and hard working fridge, with an additional Maytag 10 year compressor warranty. What more could we ask for?

Great value, great space!! Love this fridge!! This fridge is perfect for our needs, we had to have the smaller width to fit our kitchen and this fridge was perfect. I would absolutely recommend!

The finish scuffs easily and already has tiny chips in the exterior white finish.

Keeps food and beverages cold. Roomy and looks good in our kitchen.

Maytag - 22.1 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator I bought this as a replacement refrigerator due to the seller of the townhouse ended up keeping the first one. Tha refrigerator is great and the stainless looks good.

We just received it and after a couple of weeks we noticed the freezer is not very cold and the ice taste awful from the ice maker. Maytag has ordered new parts and now we are waiting. Not happy.

I have mine for less than two months and it's been a pleasure, has enough room for all your needs. I'm glad we choose this fridge.

We chose this fridge with a right opening door because of being against a wall, double doors, you cannot fully get into the freezer section. Also have a RO system so no need for fridge water.

We owned an LG refrigerator before this unit and had to leave it when moving. This cost more and was definitely a step down. Interior design is very poor. Brackets block easy movement of contents. Ice maker blew after 2 years. I would not buy again

Does what I need for a great price. I just needed something simple for a family of three. Wish I had more freezer space but we make it work.

Really like single door with freezer at bottom. Content is easy to see. Finish is very nice

I had a small area for a fridge and this one fit perfectly while not losing too much space on the inside. Also love the full deli drawer. Just wish water tap was available on inside and a water filter for icemaker... old pipes make water taste funny.

My parents have used this brand for years. Well made and good product.
