Purchased this dishwasher and a refrigerator with the fingerprint resistant stainless steel. The dishwasher is very quiet and efficient.

I have not had any problems using this dishwasher and like its performance. It is quiet and doesn't heat up the house.

I purposely left food on a plate and a very dirty pot and they both were crystal clean when done cleaning. Super quiet.

The Dishwasher looks great, it cleans great, but the unit will pop open during a cycle and release large amounts of steam and It does leak through the door at times. Maytag has a Rag Tag collection of Service company's who really want to prolong the problem rather than Fix it. When I brought my problems with this Dishwasher to BEST BUY, they did want to hear a thing since I did not buy their service program. MAYTAG is a company who has very polite customer service people when you call, but have no ability to do anything but schedule a service call with their so called service people. STAY away from Maytag. I have never had issues like this before, and Based upon their responses, I would never purchase a Maytag appliance again

This dishwasher cleans great, and heats up hot.. the best part is, you cannot hear it, whisper quiet. Good machine!

I never heard a dishwasher as quiet as this. Sometimes I can't even hear it run. Gets the dishes very clean.

I reviewed Consumer Reports but this info was dated. I was aware of the top brands but they cost $1K and we didn't want to invest that much. A friend advised that certain brands are really manufactured by someone else. I was aware who the manufacturer really is (Whirlpool) and was satisfied. Also, I considered reliability or possibility of needing a repair over time. I'm not saying this product was the highest rated but it was certainly among the top and, for the features and the price point, this product is very satisfying. The fact that it has one year parts and labor and ten years parts warranties made it an easier buy. Also, Maytag was providing free installation, as if the quality of the product wasn't enough. The Best Buy technician did an outstanding job. I was concerned that I might have to call a plumber to do some specialty work in case the new machine didn't fit exactly in the cabinet but this wasn't necessary. Our old Frigidaire dishwasher was 24 years old ! ! ! And Frigidaire wasn't among the highest rated lately. Our problem was that the old washer started leaking in front under the door. The new machine is so, so quiet. Also, reports of a possible leaking door due to not having the door fully closed that I saw online weren't an issue for us. It's funny, to use less water and less energy, the dishwasher takes longer to wash. Also, you now need a special rinse solution that aids in drying and keeping glassware from spotting. Also, this machine was one of the few that were smudge-proof and didn't cost $1K. And, if that wasn't enough, it's made in the USA. How about that ! ! !

No more rinsing needed, everything just comes out clean. We purchased this model because it had the grinder to make any waste into small particicles to avoid clog pipes.

Like the flush fit style.. Near silent operation. Cleans well. Cycles due run long though..

Excellent choice for replacing our dishwasher. We recently moved into our house this past summer. The dishwasher was the only appliance in the kitchen that was not brand new and we knew we would have to replace it soon. We chose this Maytag stainless steal because the price point, stainless steel tub, and the sanitize and heat dry mechanism. Dishes always come out clean with no food residue. Would highly recommend.

It's so quiet that I don't even know when it's on...the dishes get extremely clean too!

This is a very quiet, good looking dishwasher. One of my favorite features is the stainless steal. It doesn't get all smudged up and nasty looking like so many other stainless steal appliances do. It has an adjustable top rack that comes in handy when you are fitting different items in the dishwasher. I've had no problems so far and I'd happily recommend this to someone looking for a dishwasher.
