Well, every other dishwasher I have owned was probably made in the 90s, so maybe take this with a grain of salt. Ok, so this thing actually gets dishes clean! Not just regular clean, like holy crap did we get new dishes clean. Aaaand, you dont have to hand wash them first! I had a pile of filthy dishes piled up in the sink since our crappy old dishwasher died, and no one here was going to hand wash and dry anything. So to test this thing out I put it all in and set it to power wash. Three and a half hours later I had sparkly clean dishes. So yeah it takes a bit longer than an old dishwasher, but totally worth it. You usually run them before you go to bed anyway. As far as noise, you can hear it when it lets water in, if you listen real hard. It sounds like water running through a pipe. Because it is. Other than that it is basically silent. I didn't stand there and listen to the full three hour cycle, but it made less noise than any dishwasher I've ever heard. Go ahead and get yourself one, I have had good luck with Maytag stuff. It seems to hold up pretty well.

We love this dishwasher! You cannot beat the Maytag quality. The inside is laid out to hold a lot of dishes! It's quiet, efficient, and very nice looking.

I am very satisfied with the new dishwasher. It is easy to load and has a large capacity. The stainless steel front and control panel give it a very nice look. Most important, it does a great job cleaning dishes, glasses, pots, etc. Everything comes out totally dry and squeaky clean.

After 16 years my old dishwasher broke, I had been looking at the magtag for some time, so when mine bit the dust I headed for Best Buy to replace I’m not disappointed . What really surprised me was how quiet it was. So glad I made this purchase

This dishwasher is AWESOME! I never knew what I was missing until I bought this one. It gets rid of everything! It is simple to use which is what I wanted. My dishes are sparkling clean and shiny! Love it! Oh...I don't even know when it is on...I have to put my ear down to it to make sure it is running!

I have this DW installed for a few weeks now. It was not my first choice, I wanted something with the third rack, but this one was in stock and I could arrange for Best Buy installation very quickly. I replaced a Frigidaire that was here when I bought the house. It was whisper quiet. This one is also quiet, but not as quiet, but good in an open floor plan with a TV nearby. It washes the dishes VERY well, better than the old one. Given the price and rapid replacement options, I am very pleased!

I read all of the reviews before my purchase. They had a great savings for Presidents Day. This dishwasher is amazing. It is very quiet - I never hear it even when I am in the kitchen. I began with a small load and used the 60-min cycle. Then I had a very dirty larger load and used the normal cycle - same results. For fine china and glass ware, youll be very happy to see no spots. Everything came out amazing - better than dishwasher I have had in the past. This is an excellent dishwasher.

My wife wanted a front control dishwasher, after having issues with two different door top control dishwashers. The Maytag was installed about a month ago. Extremely quiet unit, and it does a great job cleaning dishes! We've run it daily with no problems!

Extremely quiet and efficient. No pre-rinse of items necessary. What is large volumes of dishes pots and utensils at one time.

Quiet, many option, full cycle is very long but quick is adequate enough to clean dishes, smear proof

This dishwasher is almost silent. It is very quiet and I am impressed. It cleans the dishes very well and I would purchase it again. The dishes are dry, and the glasses are spotless. The installation was another story and I will not downgrade the dishwasher because of the installation.

This is the best dishwasher ever. Love the power wash it is cleans so good, quiet. long cycle to wash but worth it holds a lot pots and pans and built in disposal is awesome.

We’ve had this dishwasher for a few weeks now and we’ve had no issues at all with the product. We had to replace a Maytag dishwasher that died on us and decided to go with the same brand as a replacement. We love the simplicity to use the dishwasher and it doesn’t make a lot of noises. There’s even times where we forget it’s running. No complaints here!

Certainly quiet, cleans well. Installation is more involved than the last two I've done...

I looked at many dishwasher’s but I like getting appliances and Apple products at Best Buy. I feel more confident with the products being delivered without problems. The dishwasher has been very good with low sound, great cleaning of dishes and energy efficient. I recommend this Maytag dishwasher. Has cleaned dishes clean every wash. No problems whatsoever and easy to install.
