This machine has been a nightmare from the first use. The dishes were not coming clean even tho I prerinsed. I was told I was using the wrong detergent. There was a lot of water in the tub after the cycle finished. I was told that would happen with an energy efficient machine. Parts have been replaced with no result. Maytag offered an extended warranty and now the entire motor, master seal and drain pump need to be replaced; they refuse to replace the machine. Service techs are NOT knowledgable, rude and arrogant. I would NEVER buy this product again. If Maytag repair sends A&E out for service, tell them you want someone else. My extended warranty expires on 8/18/09 and this machine continues to leak profusly.

The connector is poorly designed and never worked without leaking. After two months of light use it fell apart in my hand while disconnecting from the faucet. Its been over two weeks since I called the service department to get it fixed and am still waiting. I just called in to see how much longer I would have to wait they first said it would take another two weeks to get the part so I asked if there was anyway to expidite the repair, as that would put the out of service time at around a month. They said they had plenty of the parts and would send me one but then I would have to call back and reschedule the service call to get them to come fix it. This product is too expensive and broke too easily. I feel like I wasted my money. I would not recommend buying anything from Maytag. Getting service should not be this difficult. A product should not break after two months of normal use.

This is by far one of the best dishwashers I have ever owned. It gets my dishes sparkling clean -- and holds a tremendous amount of dishes. The racks are well designed and practical. The top rack is able to take larger glasses and salad plates. The bottom can seemingly hold anything -- including crock pots, cookie sheets and large pans. It is pretty easy to roll -- although it would have been more intelligent to add handles to aid in manuevering it. The electrical cord is long and retractable. The hose connection is adequate -- but due to my unusual sink configuration, I wish that it was longer. It barely makes it to my facet. Operation is as quiet as my last installed dishwasher -- it is much quieter than I expected. However, it isn't silent. The sanitize and heat dry work wonderfully. Other than the hose length, my only other gripe is the top. It is a "wood" laminate that has a plastic look to it. It isn't horrible or anything -- but a cutting board top (practical) would have been better. At least I could have set hot pans on it then. It isn't horrible -- but it isn't my taste. Overall, this is an excellent dishwasher.

I've owned mine for over four months now and have had no problems whatsoever. It's fairly quiet & I don't have to "pre-wash" the dishes. It does a great job. Its easy to move around and hook up. It needs a handle though. I'm surprised they don't mention it's convertible to be a built-in in the description. For those of you who are interested, I contacted Maytag looking for the conversion kit and conversion instructions for when I do need to convert it. I didn't get the instructions but the conversion kit is part #99001998. It cost about $65 when I checked. Hope this helps!

After a year and a half of daily use (sometimes twice daily) LOVED this thing. It did a great job on cleaning dishes even though the food dispenser could get a little loud if there were things like peas or dried rice on the plates or in the bottom of the machine at wash time(kids). Unfortunately my control panel went out and it seems VERY hard to get replacement parts from the manufacutrer. I have been waiting almost two months now. I actually loved the thing so much when it WAS working that I waited this long (really did not want to have to get a new one). Hopefully my parts will come in before the replacement is approved. Only rated it three stars due to problems getting it repaired, otherwise, it would have been 5 stars all the way.

i thought if you bought a maytag you wouldn't have any problems. boy, i was wrong!!!! i bought the dishwash last year. since NOv. of 2008 i have had the maytag guy out to my house.not one but, 7 times to fix it. you could not give me this dishwasher now. i am finlly getting a new one today. Thank God!!!!! if you want to wash your dishes by hand buy a magtag if not don't buy this one. thank you..... sandra

This dishwasher is well worth the money. It is quiet and gets the dishes clean as a whistle. It has many different settings to choose from, depending on your need at the moment.

This dishwasher really does what it says it will do. You can put in dishes that need only be scrapped, no more washing before putting in the dishwasher. They come out clean and spotless. Even the glasses come out with no spots as long as you use the spot remover dispenser which is easy to use and seems to last forever. I use the tablet style soap and there is never any clumping. This is a product that really lives up to it's hype. No wonder the Maytag repairman is so lonely.

I've used it twice now and already love it. It holds a lot of dishes and cleans them very well. It is quiet and has a sanitizing option on it.

Would not recommend this item to anyone. Computer went after 14 months. Would cost +$250 to fix so we are going to buy a new one. Stay away from Maytag. They no longer have comercials because the repair man too busy fixing everything.

I bought my dishwasher a year and a half ago, and couldn't be happier with it.

I've had this dishwasher three weeks, and not once have my dishes all come out clean. I've switched soap. I've rearraned the dishes. I've tried all the different cycles, and the best it has done is to clean about HALF the dishes. HALF!!! What a piece of junk! I was surprised that the instruction booklet reccomended wahing dishes that had had pasta on them before washing in the dishwasher!! It isn't quiet either. It sounds like a grinder. I've had it. I'm returning it. Don't waste your money.
