This was delivered only five days ago, but I’m thrilled with it so far. I replaced a KitchenAid dishwasher that I’ve hated since about a month after it was delivered. That dishwasher is the reason I now but protection plans on every single thing I purchased, and the reason I’ll never buy a KitchenAid product again. After all of the issues we had, the top rack nearly completely came off and almost took my girlfriend’s finger with it. We replaced it with this Maytag dishwasher and are very pleased so far. It does a much better job cleaning, and it’s quieter and the slides on the rack are so much smoother.

This dishwasher is a huge improvement over our previous one. It is super quiet Glassware literally sparkles. The stainless steel is very resistant to fingerprints and drip marks

My wife and I like everything about this dishwasher - except for two things. We thought we'd love having the top rack to hold cutlery and etc, but discovered that it is always in the way. If you want to load cereal bowls or standard size glasses in the middle rack, the the top rack is in the way. If you lower the middle rack to accommodate these, then the middle impeller hits dinner plates loaded into the bottom rack. Also, if the machine is running, and you open the door quickly, it sprays water out at you; if you open it slowly, you're ok. Too bad they didn't put a sensor in the handle to stop the pump before you open the door.

Top rack not very useful. Silverware holders too small. Cleans and dries well. Noisy. Foul smell after heavy load. Cleaned with vinegar wash.

I did a lot of research as things are made so poorly now it is difficult to find something I won't need to repair or replace in short time. I ended up finding that it is the least of all evils when it comes to purchasing appliances anymore. I paid more for the dishwasher than I initially intended, but after reading all the reviews over many websites I landed on this one. good looking unit fingerprint free plenty of room, versatile racks. top rack for large utensils and such (but we took it out as it caused some issues and we didn't utilize it) not completely silent, we can hear it running, but it isn't as loud as out old unit cleans the dishes well, dries them as good or better than expected here is my biggest ISSUE: the thing is very smelly. I researched it on line and found the tubing running from the machine to the drain pipes has to have a loop in it, which mine didn't. so with the help of my plumber we created this. also made sure it wasn't coming from the food processor, even bought a new one. Unfortunately, it still stinks. I thought there was a way to clean out the "grinder" but can't find that anywhere. I am having to run dishwasher cleaner ongoing to keep it from smelling.

I absolutely love this dishwasher! It's the best one I've ever had. It's roomy and quiet and gets the dishes clean. I'm very happy with this choice!

This is a nice machine...especially with the 3rd rack. Holds a lot of dishes and washes well! Easy to self install and operate. Just take your time and follow the easy to read directions. Sit back and enjoy your clean dishes. Also this machine is ultra quiet...won’t know it’s operat unless your are standing near!

I read some complaints about this dishwasher being too loud. No way. This Maytag dishwasher is very quiet. I was running it and my wife didn't even know it was on. There's an indicator light on the door, so without that you wouldn't hear much. The racks are great for holding all your dishes. We found tall glasses need to sit on the top shelf towards the middle of the rack and not the outside of the rack. So, all our dishes fit very well. There is an upper self for putting small items than might otherwise fall to the bottom of the dishwasher. We use this self for our plastic wear. Controls are pretty simple which is what we wanted. We're old school so we wash off our dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. We use quick wash and heat dry. Dishes come out dry and clear. You can put dirty dishes in the washer and use the rinse setting if you want to wait until later to wash. Since it's just my wife and I we don't need to do that. I think when the kids and family come over we'll try putting in dishes without rinsing just to see how it does. The dishwasher is very well insulted. The vent (for those who keep asking) is on the side of the door. Over all, we're very happy with the dishwasher.

I am ver happy with this purchase, it was delivered when they stated and was easy to install. It cleans well and is quiet.

This Dishwasher is great...the third row I found useless and the tines are not moveable at all...other than that it is high quality

This dishwasher is so quiet you do not even know it is running. It cleans very efficiently. I haven't decided if I like the silverware basket with the lid but it is removable if you'd rather group your items in the sections versus individual slots per utensil. One annoyance is family members opening the dishwasher at the top where the control panel is versus the recessed handle. We lowered the second rack for tall glasses and use the small top rack for knives and flat lids. I am considering removing the small top rack though.

Easy installation, great controls. Wash gets things really clean. Very quite washing cycle!

I was pleasantly pleased with how quiet the dishwasher is. You can hear it barely running when standing at the door. No interruptions to conversations anymore. It cleans well on the normal cycle and dries well with the extended drying button pushed. The status light on the front and top lets you clearly see when it is done. Excellent product!!

Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other machines but built solid, runs quiet (barely hear it) and gets the dishes clean AND dry.

Have only used this dishwasher a couple of times, but very satisfied with it. It's so quiet, you can't hear it running. Does a great job of cleaning dishes. Push button controls are easy to use. Racks slide in and out very easily. There's even a short third rack on top that's good for silverware. Best Buy delivery team was very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend.

So far so good. I have had three Kitchenaid dishwashers prior to this one and I like this Maytag the best. It seems roomier than the KA and the bottom rack is taller so cookie sheets fit (they didn't in my last KA). I do have to use the Power Blast cycle with high temp water for the best results. Love the utensil basket--it is very sturdy and easy to load. The finish of the stainless steel on the outside is far superior to the KA. The Maytag is always shiny and spot free. This is probably the best dishwasher I have ever had.

This dishwasher is so quiet you wouldn't even know it's on. Beautiful stainless, inside and out. I love the third rack, it's great for lids & larger utensils. Nice clean look, no name brand showing, no "busy" panel showing, just a simple small light that lets you know that it's washing, drying & done. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I like the design inside and out. The machine does take an awful long time to run through a cycle though. Great in every way, but time.

Bought a LG first, it was highly recommended by sales person. Extremely unhappy it was junk and exchanged it for Maytag. Maytag is a very popular brand and so happy we chose this model. All stainless steel and very quiet. The only thing I dont like is the silverware tray I prefer to have it in the door.

Great functionality. 3 racks, can take out top rack tray, they just lift out. Super quiet, cleans well, drys great even plastic, without melting anything. Silverware dividers can be removed, 1 or both sides of handles for larger items. Blue indicator on front when washing, red when drying, white when done.
