I have only had this machine for 3 months but i am liking almost everything about it. all i have to set is the cycle and the temp and it does everything else. the clothes come out clean and i use less detergent and alot less electricity than my last machine. mine is in the cellar but if you put it in your living area you should know that it is a little noisy. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product .

Once, I got use to all the funny sounds that this washer makes in the process of cleaning my clothes, I came to Love It !!!. I love that it determines the water level for me, and slowly evens out the water level for a thorough wash. This machine also drys my clothes so well, that electric drying time is literally cut in half ! And, on top of that, it Super Quiet....and can accommodate a good size load. Yes, this machine may take longer to wash than the average machine, but it is not an average machine and it is more than worth !!

I must admit I am in love with my Maytag washer....yes, it takes a minute to wash your clothes but it is worth the savings that I will be receiving from my water bill and electric bill. My clothes are so clean and it wrings them out so well that it helps cut down the drying time. I must admit, an investment for sure - especially the $150 saving I received from getting it on sale.

I have always wanted to upgrade to a Maytag washer and dryer because of the reputation for qulaity. I have mostly owned Whirlpool in the past and have never been that impressed. After I purchased this washer and matching dryer, I discoverd that Whirlpool bought Maytag, so I esentially have another Whirlpool set. The washer works fine, but it has a funny rotten egg smeill when it washes. I looked at the FAQ on the website and it says this is normal for a few washes because of the new parts, etc. It took a month to finally start going away.

I have put about 24 loads of clothes through my new washer and am very pleased with its simple design and quality. It cycles quick and my clothes come out cleaner and fresher! You can't go wrong.

online transaction was excellent, delivery was SPOT ON, washer is great. i would highly recomend product and best buy services. this was the best way i have ever bought a appliance, thanks BB...i will be back for more... PS did i mention, there were cheaper than ANY one around, and i looked hard for a better price, no way BB got it going on over there 5stars

machine is not versatile - once set and started you're locked in - no changing that cycle or to do so you must kill that cycle and start over wasting the water you were supposed to have saved by purchasing a water saving machine - and then there's this website with this review that forces me to place a nickname in block and then tells me huh no, you can't have that one - seriously? what is the deal here? do you care about the product or what my stupid nickname is or if I even have one?

Although this machine appears to have an agitator in the middle to ensure clean clothes, do not be deceived. Unless you use the heavy setting (which results in random holes in your clothing), it doesn't remove even any surface foreign matter. I accidentally tipped over a bowl of chex mix while I was loading the washer one time, and the few pieces I didn't find before I washed the clothes...were still sitting on them when the machine finished!!! Unless you HEAVILY pre-treat even the tiniest fresh stain, don't expect it to look anything but wetter after washing it. If you do heavily pre-treat fresh stains, you might get lucky and it'll fade after 3 or 4 washes. After just 3 months of light use the machine started shaking and flailing about when it tried to spin. After the lights went out and it stopped, I opened the lid - only to have it start up lid OPEN an hour later. This utterly voids the purpose of the safety "lid lock" feature. After I unplugged it and let it sit a day, I tried the spin/drain cycle but it wont spin at all. I never overload the washer - there's no point in even trying since then it doesn't even fully wet the clothes. By overload I mean even ever-so-lightly press down on the clothes to tuck in a pair of shorts or tee shirt. Overall, if you want wet dirty clothes, go with Maytag (which is EXACTLY the same manufacturer as Whirlpool) - otherwise choose another brand.

Good machine for the price. We bought it on sale and it supposed to be heavy duty.

The first load I did took much longer than expected. The process doesn't allow you to open/close lid, and if you DO need to add more items, the whole process starts over again. Last night I did a load of 3 sets of sheets...it took 1 1/2 hours. I put a load in this morning at 6:11 AM. It's now 6:57 and hasn't even started the wash cycle. As soon as the store opens, I'm going to return this machine.

it quit on my frist load of laundry is still in wash cycle got to wash an rinse them by hand 500.00 for a piece of junk
