Basic clothes washer with non-intuitive controls, as well as lacking the normal agitator function of older machines. If I could have found an older model of the Sears' Kenmore washing machines, I would have. This washer replaced a 5 year old GE washer. Been married almost 50 years, had three sons and one daughter, in all those years we only had to replace a washer due to moving overseas. A sad state of manufacturing for America.

I am not too thrilled with this washer. The tub is nice and large but no matter what size load of wash you put into the tub, it never fills to the top to accommodate the large loads. It uses somewhat of hot water but rinses with cold water. It takes about an hour to wash one load. I would not recommended the new models. Maytag made a wonderful product 15-20 years ago & I loved my old Maytag. It's too bad they don't make them as well now. The new models are suppose to be energy efficient but where is the energy saved when it takes it twice as long in electricity to wash a load.

Because I'm on a budget, when I have to replace expensive items I look first for great reviews, but then choose something that is also in the lower price range. This washer is extremely quiet, has the settings I was looking for, i.e. 'handwash,' and does a great job of getting things clean. I am not a huge fan of how low the water level is on autosensing, but the clothes get clean anyway.

The washing machine does a good job of cleaning dirty clothes. It is a little bit noisy when the sensors kick on and off. I don't like that it takes almost 2 hours to do a load.

Enjoying my wash machine….works great !!! My clothes look fabulous when I got them out…so clean wasn’t embarrassing wearing my cloths…Easy to work the wash machine…you don’t need a physics degree to work the wash machine…my kids and husband can use it with out difficulty.

Pretty easy to use! Reasonable price! Huge tub! Highly recommend!!

We purchased the washer and dryer set. This washer has a large capacity, very quiet, and does a great job cleaning the clothes. Made in America and comes with a 10 year warranty.

decent washer for the price. Easy to use with large capacity. Wish you could use the fragrance beads without marking up our clothes.

Clothes & bedding comes out great. You must remember to wash your machine in order to keep it running great. Easy to use. Clear labeling make everything easy to understand. not too loud when it use. So far holding up great under heavy & frequent use.

I like that I can just push a button to start, self adjusting fill level, etc. I makes lots of odd sounds but washes well. I don't like the locking lid.

I love my new Maytag High Efficiency Top load washer. it does a great job on getting all my clothes clean. Easy to use and does not use a lot of water. I do at least 2 to 3 loads of laundry a day. Can even wash my king size blankets in it.

It hold so much (only fills up 1/2 way with a full size laundry hamper worth of clothes) and clothes conme out so clean! It is also so quiet when it fills up and does the spin! Very impressed with it. Definitely worth the back order wait to get it!

I purchased this to replace a front load Samsung washer and couldn’t be happier. Love the large capacity and multiple rinse cycle options. A little louder than the unit it replaces but I could care less. So far I love it

+ clothes seem cleaner + I love the 2nd rinse option + it has a spindle - I'm having to get accustom to the additional new sounds and timing - I had to spend A LOT of time researching to figure out what all the wash/rinse options really meant to my clothes (e.g., agitation agressiveness, water height, etc.) - the lid lock is on most of the time, I can't see what the washer is doing. If I get another washer that's this automated, I'll look for a washer with a glass lid.

We have had the machine for a few months and have had no problems. My wife likes the increased capacity. Easy to use. Cleans cloths very well.

Cleans the clothes very well. I am having difficulty getting used to the new agitator. Also on the longer cycles, the clothes come out very wrinkled.

Got this after buying an insignia washing machine which turned out to be a dud and it's amazing! It is large enough to fit my queen size comforter and thoroughly cleans everything I put in it. I'm an extremely pleased with this washer.

My mother has a Maytag that's over 20 years old and has never needed repair. This is my first and thus far, it does a great job washing. I'm very pleased. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there is no manual time override and it's rather loud.

great alternative to gadget/feature laden machines. gets clothes clean, even with more dog hair than we care to admit. Good capacity that does not require a step ladder to retrieve clothes in the bottom of the washer. A bit loud.
