We researched washers on the Consumer Reports site and decided on this one. Quiet, efficient and gets the clothes clean.

Cleans good , many features to pick from , I can fit my bedding ( sheets/covers) easily in as well . I like it alot ..

GOOD QUITE QUICK AND CLEAN. EASY TO OPERATE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND BUT IT WAS REALLY SIMPLE.

We went online on Consumer Reports for information purchasing a new washer and dryer. We also wanted to get these for a good price and ones that would be in stock and ready for quick delivery. This Maytag was exactly what we wanted. We were extremely happy with the Geek Squad in the delivery and setup - and this was not our first experience with them. The washer and dryer we had were over 13 years old and we had bought them at Best Buy and with the same quality of delivery and setup.

I’ve had this machine for a month. I couldn’t be happier. It cleans the clothes so well i didn’t realize my old washer was so bad. It’s quiet and wonderful.

I purchased this washer after having way too many service calls on my GE front load machine. The final straw was when the motor went out (smoke pouring out of the machine) and it was going to be 2 months to get the new one. The technician recommended Maytag or Whirlpool and so far I am very happy with it. Not too noisy and clothes come out clean. What more could you ask for? Installers were efficient and on time. Thank you Best Buy for making my life easier!

Very Large washer. Lengthy cycles. Cleans clothes well. Make sure you place washer away from laundry door. The water extract is great. Reduces time in the dryer and helps with clothes I choose to hang to dry. 1st time owning a front load washer. Unable to add clothes once the cycle starts which is disappointing. (Make sure you to have all the clothes to go in before starting.) 4 starts due to the size of the washer.

best buy was the best with the price, delivery, day, phone calls. store service was helpful. i have bought a french door refregerator from best buy also. i would use them again, and again.

Bought this washer as it was a consumer reports best buy and the price was good. Seems to work fine, although often the cycle takes a little longer than the timer says that it will.

I was afraid because some reviews were talking about bad smells or a loud spin cycle. So far the washer has been a good purchase. The "Max" speed for the spin cycle is very good at getting most of the water out of the clothes so that you can dry them quickly. The settings are easy to figure out. There are just enough options for everything you'd need to wash, and the manual has a good table with suggested settings for sheets or blankets. No smells so far. In fact, the washer seems to dry out completely even with the door closed, though this is in dry Colorado so your results may vary (just give it a wipe in the "collar" of the door from time to time if you do see any moisture). I was drawn to this washer because it was a great price on sale ($600) and had all the features we could ever want. So far it's been an excellent choice!
