We’ve had this washer for a few months now and are very happy with it’s performance. Large load capacity, runs quietly, easy on clothes and overall a great machine!

Washer is very quiet as is dishwasher. Dishwasher is very spacious with on door rack for silverware. Washer handles large loads of laundry well.

This washer works great. The other comments about it being somewhat loud are correct. The water rushing in to fill it is surprisingly noisy. But the result is clean and mostly dry clothes. I have it up on a pedestal and on the main floor, so this may contribute to the sound. Either way, super happy with the results.

It was purchased to replace an old Maytag top loader, that had been very reliable after 15 years. This washing machine performs much better than the former. The steam option is effective removing stains. It is quiet, uses less water and is gentle on clothes. Front panel controls are user friendly.

From the actual washing performance, the Maytag does superbly. The higher end models have a built-in detergent reservoir, but this has a risk of mold, so this is the true flagship model. Washing performance is good with a smooth spin cycle. The amount of water extracted from this washer during the spin cycle is impressive, although bedding is still a challenge (there is a bedding mode).
The only criticism I have of this washer is that the door only opens on the right, with the hinge on the left. It cannot be reversed. The door also feels flimsier than one might expect.

I have seen this model in the store for a while and loved it. The washing machine was going out. and eventually just flat out died, so we had to replace it. These models were on clearance and we jumped at the chance. I am thrilled. I was not sure I wanted a front loader as I have heard they have more maintenance (monthly cleaning and wiping out gaskets and such) but I just love how these clean and dry. I would buy this again and again. I have found that I can get through a weeks worth of laundry in one day. Back to back loads are washed with no worries, quick, efficient, and clean.

We love our new washing machine. It cleans clothes well and we’ve noticed a difference in our utility bill after having replaced our 13 year old washer and dryer. Minus one star for having to have the door lock fixed tide within the first three months, but thankful for the warranty.

This washer replaced our previous Maytag. I trust the Maytag brand and quality. Easy to use, all selections are self explanatory of what they do. Machine is quiet. Most time I forget the wash is running. Tub size is awesome. I can fit so much in the tub and still have enough room for optimal washing. Machine senses the size of wash and then adds the correct amount of water needed to wash. Great machine. Turn on, select option, press start. That simple. Neat feature, which at first I did not think was all that big a deal....a light that shines in the tub. Its great when looking to see if each piece of laundry was pulled out. Very pleased with this product.

I LOVE my Maytag washer!!! It is so capacious but not that quiet. It has several cycles, like delicate and mite-killing, but it doesn't have a pretty song like the LG at the end of the cycle. It's stackable so with the dryer, They look good together.

Absolutely thrilled with this washer! We had our last front loader for over 10 years and when it went into the spin cycle it sounded and felt like a helicopter was hovering over our house (yes, our laundry is on the top floor). This machine is much quieter and there is no vibration. The clothes come out almost dry and it does a great job cleaning them without wearing them out! It also keeps them fresh if we don't get them into the dryer right away. Great machine and installation was handled by Best Buy and went smoothly! We stacked the washer and dryer and although I am not very tall (5'3") I can still manage the dials. Love the space it has opened up in my laundry room.

We were looking for a quiet washer since the laundry room is near bedrooms and this one fits the bill perfectly. Large capacity, easy to use panel to select exactly the wash cycle your laundry needs.

This is about a month old. When we bought it we did NOT buy the pedestal. I figured it was rip off. and it is a total rip off. But... we learned very quickly that the washer is too low to the ground for a front loader. This is our first front loader ever. Anyhow... we immediately learned we didn't like it. So i went and got a pedestal. That made it better.
Being a front loader though... there is still an adjustment getting used to it. It's more difficult to load. we also use the Downy fabric crystals and i'm learning those need to go in first. If you add them last and you have a full load, they fall back out onto the floor.
We also hang dry work clothes and anything we don't want to shrink with a dryer. With a front loader, it's more difficult too to take clothing out, piece by piece. Instead you pull out 1 item and 2 fall to the floor. It is what it is. Again, we just need to get used to it.
We are not a big fan of all the beeps. Everything you touch beeps. It's too much.
This all said... we really do like the machine. So far, it does a really nice job cleaning our clothing and bed linens. I have done my work clothes, hangables, bed linens, comforter, loads of underwear and socks with towels and all that little stuff, and more. I'm happy with it all.
I read that because the machine is energy efficient and uses only 4 gallons of water per (cycle or per entire wash? I think it's per cycle with a total of about 10 gal's per entire wash) that the washer "washes" the clothing longer than in the old tub style machines... and that's why it can take 2 or 3 HOURS to wash your clothing, sheets, etc.
I programmed my cycle (the machine allows you to configure a cycle and save it. My cycle uses Normal wash with Medium Soil settings, luke warm water and maximum extract. The cycle takes less than an hour. Pretty good. I then set a timer with Alexa and all is good.
I like how it does have a light inside. That's a nice feature.
I wish the soap dispenser was lower, though. When on the pedestal, it's harder for my wife and son to use it. So we are using tide pods now.
Even though this is a Maytag with a "limited" 10 year warranty, we bought the 5 year geek squad warranty. IF the machine makes it 5 years without issue... then I'm sure it will make 10 or 15.
Our last Maytag Neptune's lasted 12 years. Washer is still going but it can't handle anything with weight. Even a load of bath towels is now out. UGH. That's why we needed to buy a new washer.
Ok, that's all we have for now. As of now, I've run about 15 loads through the machine and i'm happy with the results.
thanks

I have this washer for a couple of months so far, and it has been a great replacement for the Maytag washer we owned for 20 years. It's quiet, it's efficient, and it handles large loads.

I waited to review this washer until I received my utility bills. I live alone and saved a lot on my water bill. A family would save a lot more than I did. It is well worth it to upgrade to high efficiency. It also does a great job getting all the nasty dirt out of my work clothes.

I was not an easy convert to HE front-loading washers, but this machine has won me over completely! Since our old top-loader broke down and it took a while for me to decide on the new one, a mountain of laundry was waiting when it arrived. I couldn't believe how quickly the mountain disappeared - this Maytag holds SO much more. My super-heavy, king-size matelassé bedspread came out bright white, and the powerful spin cut drying time in half - thereby reducing wrinkles drastically. I love being able to fine-tune the washer settings according to my needs, and highly recommend this model!
