Great machine, direct drive is much better, like the stainless steel tub also. Our old machine was good, but this is a much bigger, stronger, well made machine.

After having to wait (disgruntled) for a month and a half while the washer was on back order (having received 3 separate delivery dates), we finally received everything we ordered. I can't for the life of me understand that once we've paid for everything, to have to wait for a month and a half, I can't comprehend. Are there little elves making these things by hand? All seems to be working well at this time. A word of advice: BUY THE PEDESTALS! THEY'RE WORTH IT! We'll see!

Great quality washer. Runs really quiet. Like the different cycle choices.

My last washer was an early front loader by LG. It never really cleaned. I almost went with a top loader for this reason, but spotted this set (washer and dryer) on sale. I went with Maytag because they have been in this business for a very long time. For the first time in my life, I LOVE MY WASHER.

This dryer does a fine job of tackling all sorts of laundry items. We have used it on delicates, cotton clothes, sheets and towels and find everything comes out perfect. We like the flexible settings, ease of use and the ability to tailor the machine to the fabrics. It also appears to dry with less energy used than our previous smaller capacity dryer.

There are many features to customize your load. Never leave an item in the washer since there is an interior light. Overall very satisfied.

I must of repaired our washer 4 or 5 times but when the drum bearing started going out I decided to purchase a new washer. I chose this one mainly due to user reviews. I would agree with the positives. The machine is quiet and efficient and it has a much larger load compatibility than our old Neptune which was a 3.5 cu/in We really like our new Maytag machine.
