Prefacing this by saying I bought this after having had a higher end Samsung previously. This washer just does the job that I need it to, wash clothes. Is it louder than most washers? Yeah I’m sure it is but with it being in a separate wash room it’s a moot point for me. It washes clothes good and efficiently. When the clothes are done they are almost completely dry which has significantly cut down on the drying time. Bottom line is that it works and works well. Definitely more of an old school/simpler vibe as it has a few modes and doesn’t not have all the bells and whistles which for me I can do without.

Garbage at its best! Modern robbery!!! 4 years have passed and washer wouldn't fill. I called my local repair man and he said it was the mother board. I swapped 4 mother boards and it didn't fix my issue. Stay away from anything having a sensor/sensing system.

Appreciate the good customer service and the reasonably priced appliances in this difficult economy. Even though the first washer I got had a malfunction, BestBuy replaced the washer with a new one with zero hassle. New one works great!

It cleans well, but we can have the door open when the machine is filling. But, the thing we don't like is that it's very noisy. I would not recommend

Haven’t bought a new washer for 20 years so this took some learning. The Maytag does wash clothes and spin them dry very well. I would recommend this to others.

This machine was purchased about 11 months ago, I have had to endure the worst wash day experiences ever, not only does this machine not perform like the old May tag this machine is the worst of any machine made. And, let me tell you it is the Worst machine I ever purchased. It goes through a spin cycle, with no water causing clothes especially delicates to tear, before it even puts out water causing it spins, add a cup or two of water then stops, add another er but and stops, The water goes in really low and slow, comforters to tear at the seams, it is not a larger Capacity washer it is just very deeper then any other machine, so you can’t reach your clothes without a step-stool. If you put more than half way full in clothes then come out wet. The compartment you put soap in fills with water and does not empty completely so something more for you todo so you don’t get mold. The spin cycle spins then stops, spin then stops, and is so harsh that everything comes out so wrinkle it’s impossible to get the out even after drying them. I hate this machine. I will never buy nor recommend Maytag ever again.

It washes the clothes great. But its Extremely loud when the water fills the tub and when agitating and rinsing. It's just loud in general. The panel is a little weird.

Does an excellent job. Simple to use no bells and whistles. My only complaint is that it is a little loud, but most of the washers these days make more noise. We just close the door to the laundry area and it's fine.

Great washer! Very spaces. It does a great job of cleaning clothes, Plus Maytag provides a 10 year part warranty! I would recommend this top loader washer machine. It’s little loud.

Stopped working almost immediately!!!!!!!! 2Nd repelacement already stilk the same!!!! I’m extremely disappointed with this Maytag 4.5 cu. ft. high-efficiency top-load washer. It stopped working almost right after purchase, which is unacceptable for a brand that claims durability and reliability. The washer failed to operate properly from the start cycles wouldn’t complete and it became unusable. For an appliance at this price point, I expected at least basic functionality, not a machine that turns into a very expensive laundry room decoration. This has been a waste of time, money, and energy. Between troubleshooting, dealing with customer service, and now needing repairs or replacement, the whole experience has been frustrating. I bought Maytag for peace of mind what I got was immediate failure. Would not recommend this model. Reliability is non-negotiable for major appliances, and this washer failed that test instantly

I as pleased with my Maytag washer except for the softener dispenser. The dispenser tends to leave residual in the washer tub

A bit noisy for us. Lid is OK although you will find a lot of complaints that it is flimsy.

Machine was much lighter and easier to move, Has more capacity than the old machine too is quieter and smoother. It was a little hard to learn how to start it only thing I’m worried about is a plastic transmission. Old machine lasted 30 years

I love my new Maytag washer. It’s easy to use and I love the large capacity barrel and auto water setting. The sale price was great too.

1st ever Maytag purchase. I am glad i went with this model. Easy to read and use dials, easy access to clothes. Very reasonably priced and made for those that are shorter in stature.

It has easy to read instructions. Lots of heat settings. It is a pretty design. What more could you ask for

Great design but not a fan of the smart washers, also not a true Maytag since the merger but I will give it almost 3 stars for performance, it is easy to use so there is that. The dryer is great but the washer is a little disappointing.
