This mean that whatever is closest to the bottom of the tub gets soaked in the detergent before the wash begins. Bleach and softener have separate dispersal systems. That seems more logical. A washer that disperses the detergent after it has been diluted in water would be better. This washer also has poorly designed buttons to lock the lid and start the wash cycle. It's "okay" but not something I would recommend.

The spin cycle shoots out water in the process. Our water bill has gone up from our old washer. It has tons of options for settings though and I like the locked lid concept. It hold a LOT of laundry!!!
