I would recommend this to a friendReplaced from Maytag to Whirlpool top load.

I had my whirlpool washer and dryer for 16 years, worked great but knew I had to replace them so that is why I went with the new washer and dryer with a 10 year warranty and your brand.

The thing is super loud, and was severely off balance. Even with no clothing in the washer, it would vibrate and bang the sides. I returned this right away. Best Buy was excellent though, and took the washer back no questions. The customer service was great, just stay away from this washer.

The lid is so flimsy I could fold it in half if it wasn't screwed to the machine. The top is slanted toward the front so have to be careful sitting anything on the top. Much taller machine than I had and lid hits the upper cabinets.
