Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I no longer have cable, but I remember the commercials from years ago where the Maytag repairman was bored because he had no repairs to do. What a laugh! We bought this washer brand new 3 years ago and have had to get it repaired 3 times. It has been virtually rebuilt at expenses well in excess of its original price, and yet, it still does not work properly! Now that the extended warrantee has expired, we plan to get what we can out of it and then replace it with a different brand. Unfortunately, the way it is "working" right now, I have my doubts that we will get a 4th year out of it. I can only hope that this review will help at least one person not make the same mistake of buying this machine.

Best Buy outlet not always the best deal!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paid $435 for is washer at Best Buy Outlet in Springdale Ohio. Got it hooked up and it would not fill properly so spend $129 to have some come look at it and another$100 for an inlet water valve. We could have just bought a new one for that price. Will probably not buy from here again I will just go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and by new on sale. Be leary of open box merchandise from Best Buy may need new parts you aren’t aware of instead of just a couple scratches or dents

This is the third new washer we've purchased in the last several years. Last Maytag died after three years. It had a drive axle spline failure. The other washer had a complete failure after 5 years. This new washer now failed after only having it 5 months. When it runs its noisy as heck. When spinning it's even worse. This is the last whirlpool/ Maytag I'm buying. Today I bought a speed queen washer. That hopefully will end years and years of problems I've had with whirlpool and Maytag

Never buy a Maytag!!!

After one year and one week it has broken down again and we have been without a washer for a month and counting. I would never buy a MayTag product again and neither should you!

Don’t do maytag

The second was bought by the hubs when I was out of town and it went out. Both were garbage. this last one being so much more worse. We bought it and it was broken and took us 4 months to get a tech out here. It completely gave it up less than 9 months later. Incredibly loud, didn’t clean clothes and even the estimated cleaning cycle was never accurate. Maytag will allow you to leave a review but states, if they don’t like it, it will be removed. Go with another brand.

Maytag Misery
