I Love my Maytag Dryer model(MED5630HW). Its very energy efficient and runs very quiet and leaves no wrinkles on my clothes. I would recommend anyone looking to Purchase a New Dryer to have a look at this one while your looking, you will not regret it.

This washer is great you can put a King size blanket in it and it washes it great . Has a convenient drawer to put detergent, bleach etc . It has a cleaning cycle which you must buy a cleaner once every like 6 weeks . A little loud when spinning but lots of features. I’ve had 8 months now wonderful machine.

The first disappointment was that when I was in the store purchasing, the tag hanging on it stated the dryer had STEAM option. Upon delivery, that was not the case, but the serial and model numbers matched. When I went to the store days later, the tag hanging on it had been corrected on no longer stated it had the steam option. Additionally, per the sales rep, this machine had a rack of sorts that one could sit shoes on while drying in the the washer without tumbling them about. That was not present upon delivery. I am attaching the in store tag that states 'YES' to steam on this model. Other than those sales errors, I have enjoyed the machine itself. Merely disappointed with the sales portion of what I though I was purchasing. All of these concerns were noted in the installers notes that he said were always reviewed by higher leadership. NONE of whom followed up the me on the mis-sale.

Maytag continues to impress with their latest machines. Best Buy was able to deliver them and install!

Just got the washer and dryer last month and this is my 1st front load washer, it does a good job. haven't tried all the features yet, but so far I like it a lot.

We had to replace due other unit being a bit old. Had to wait for a month to get it. High demand. Got it installed, installers very professional and awesome! Unit working good and quiet

This is the 2nd Maytag we purchased. The washer has lasted for 5 years with only one service call and power pump replacement under $300. This is the 2nd dryer that supposedly superseded the 1st where the element out in both. Both lasted about 2.5-3 years. I would expect the dryer to outlast the washer only the s wasn’t the case with this almost 1k priced dryer. The breakdown below should include durability. I would give this a 2-3 star.

Despite good reviews convincing us to purchase, this dryer doesn't dry heavy items well in Normal cycle. Possible cause is strange vent trap arrangement, which seems less effective than most.

This Maytag steam dryer is great. It works well and dries clothes quick. We bought both the washer and the dryer as a stacking unit. It fits well in the space. I will say though, that if your plan is stack this unit the control panel is slanted up which makes it difficult to read the controls. I was also surprised to find that this dryer does NOT have a light in. I dont know that I've owned a dryer without a light. I didn't know that was something I needed to look for when buying. The dryer is very quiet when running. You wont even know it's on. This model has a power boost button on the dial. Just press it for a little extra drying power. There are several drying options including bulky items, towels, wrinkle reducer, steam, normal, permanent press, and several others. Overall I'm impressed with this unit and would buy it again.

It was with some hesitation that I gave away a much older version- an antique in electrical terms. This one promises a bit more room for blankets and fits in the same space. It seems much quieter, yet jeans with hardware make some noise on the other side of a hollow door. The moisture sensor would seem to save some energy, yet it is necessary ( as with most machines ) to check the fly of heavy jeans if they are to be worn soon. Changing the selection to "Towels" and pressing the center button is the go-around for now. It may take less time than initially indicated for that re-start. The cool-down results in few wrinkles in 'perma-press' rated clothes. Replacement was easy, yet the included 'extra feet' are for stacked use. An electrician should wire the cord, as 220-240 VAC neutral and bonding are nothing to guess about. This can involve moving a wire, depending on your plug. It so happens, I held an electrical license and taught electronics. RT(g)M.

I picked this out on the website and scheduled a delivery date through the website. I had some questions about the dryer and was able to find my answer on the manual. I received a call and a text to keep me aware of the arrival time. The installers were here on time and very pleasant. The handle is positioned on the top of the door and opens and closes easily. My last dryer started every time I brushed up against it to get something off the shelf or hang clothes above it so I do appreciate the hold 3 seconds before it starts. It also has a door lock button which is a great safety feature as well. My clothes are dry before the next load has finished washing. This is something very new for me. I’m amazed at how much time I save with clothes being dry the first time. The dryer has an "Extra Power" button but I never get to use it because clothes are dry so soon. I've had this for 3 months now and have never had to turn the dryer back on to get a load dry. The buttons and digital display are easy to see. There is no light on the inside when the door is opened. I opted not to get the steam dryer because I didn’t want to hook a water hose to the dryer. I have had no problems with wrinkles even with the wrinkle prevent turned off.

Very nice dryer. Looks good, super quiet and gets all the clothes nice and dry.

After about 4 months of researching washer/dryer sets, we purchased the Maytag 7.3 Cu. Ft. 10 Cycle HE front loading electric dryer and accompanying washer. We have had the set for approximately one month. We are satisfied with the purchase. The dryer is quiet with many drying options. The longest drying time has been a little less than two hours. The different drying settings sometimes left my clothes still damp. I did not like that, so I just adjusted and use the timed dry setting. There is a cool down period so your clothes aren't too hot once the cycle is over. It also has a wrinkle prevent option which spins the clothing occasionally after the cycle ends. Due to the Co-Vid 19 restrictions, Geek Squad was not permitted to do the install. My husband installed both appliances with ease. The dryer came cracked, but didn't affect the function what so ever. (I need to call and let them know) I like that the doors can be reversed according to your needs. I have the washer set to open from the right and the dryer open from the left for easy transfer of clothing. I am a mother of two children under 5. The clothes smell fresh and clean with minimal to no wrinkles. My two kids love the digital buttons and often help with laundry. If you have back issues, I'd recommend purchasing the pedastool. I stoop low to transfer clothing from the washer to the dryer. I am 5"1 and in generally good health with occasional back pain but feel comfortable with the washer dryer set as is w/o added height. Lastly, the delivery men were very kind and informative. The younger man stood out especially. He was kind and professional. He answered questions from my toddler who was amazed by the STRONG man and wanted to know how he got to be so strong. The young man gave a mother approved answer. "Exercise and eat your vegetables." I wish I caught this mans name. According to the Best Buy text messages, his name may have been Aureliano. There were two men, but the younger man is the one I was most pleased with. -from El Paso, TX
