This is our first gas dryer as opposed to electric so maybe it’s common knowledge but this thing gets HOT in the drum (much hotter than electric dryers). We actually burned some blankets on the second use so now we turn the heat down every time we use it.

Great dryer...LOVE Maytag!!

With my large Maytag washing machine & now having this large Maytag dryer I can get a lot of laundry done in just one load. Easily fits king comforter! I love the sensor dry feature, I’m not wasting energy, it stops when everything is dry!

poor installation and follow up

Great Fast Dryer / very Quiet!

Be aware that if your placing it into a small room / laundry room it must have ample clearance for the gas line and dryer vent which takes up a lot of the room . (It sticks out a little farther from wall, the wash sink and countertop than I anticipated).
