This dryer is large capacity. It turns really quiet. I like that it has a non wrinkle setting that keeps the drum turning after the cycle is over to prevent wrinkling. Easy to use. great setting options.

We opted to go with a gas dryer this time instead of the electric. The drum on this thing is big enough to fit a small adult!! One thing I don't like is the lint trap. You need to flip it open to clean it which I feel it will break eventually as its plastic but does hold alot. I've found if you turn the power on first and remove/replace the lint trap prior to adding clothes you won't get the "check lint trap" error and have to open the door, remove/replace the trap and shut the door before starting, which is the one little annoying feature.

This dryer is an amazing machine it is very large can do big quilts in one load also looks good next to its counterpart the washer. It is a pretty awesome find for a gas dryer. When we looked it was about size and speed. It has done both! Clothes come out dry in the 1st run through even large loads.

Replaced an older dryer that had suddenly stopped working. Controls are easy and it dries items from bedding to delicate items easily and quickly. I would give this dryer 5 stars if the lint trap were easier to clean, however I find it difficult to clean the lint trap unless it has a heavy buildup from towels or blankets. I would still buy this again.

This thing is so great. We have the accompanying 5.3 Cu. Ft. top load washer (without the agitator), and everything we can fit in there comfortably fits in the dryer. This thing dries much quicker than my last set too. It's just a great dryer. We do 1-2 loads per day, with my family size, and I have to say, moving from electric to gas was a noticeable change our electric bill with a minimal blip in our gas bill, and we have gas heat, gas water, gas cooktop, gas grill, gas firepit... It's nice to finally move to a gas dryer. Of note, the dryer is VERY big compared to the washer and so it doesn't sit flush side by side with the washer. It sticks out a little. I attached a photo, but the backs of the washer and dryer are completely even, and you can see how the front sticks out a bit. Keep that in mind if you are looking for a flush clean look. You won't get that here.

Large loads, lint catcher very effective the best I’ve ever seen in a dryer, dries to a point that prolongs life of materials, great features,love the way dryer lights up inside!

Replaced our 4 year old Samsung dryer after it’s 3rd repair. Should have bought these from the get go. Absolutely wonderful.

Barely fit in the doorways its so big. Reversable door is awesome! Nice light inside.

Love our new dryer. We've been using it for the past four months and are very happy. It's fast, quiet and energy efficient. Large capacity and easy to use.

I've just installed this dryer no more than 3wks ago, but, I just had to state my review on it. First of all, it is beautiful! The Metallic Slate color has shine to it and not dull/flat. It drys the clothes beautifully and extremely easy to function the selection options. Nothing complicated. I like that it has a "Lint Remove" blinking reminder to clean it - after all, facts are that most fires start because ppl don't clean their lint after every dry. I have a dedicated area for my washer/dryer units, but, found that this dryer is quite quiet. I also especially bought this size for its huge tub so I have the option of doing small loads but also large ones like comforters. I initially did an enormous amount of research and found this one to satisfy all my needs (small or very large loads). Plus, I know I have seen the "Maytag" brand since I was a little girl (over 60 years ago) and that says a lot for me. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fine quality & beautiful looking dryer.

After 17 years with the same dryer, and the washer starting to fail, it was time to upgrade. This Maytag dryer is spacious and holds a king size comforter with ease. The dryer is very quiet and dries clothing, towels and bedding well. Still trying to determine the most efficient settings for my size loads, but should figure this out soon. Note that the 2 delivery personnel were very cordial and efficient in removing the old washer and dryer, and in setting up the new ones.

This is my first ever gas dryer and I don’t think I can ever go back to an electric one. This machine dries our clothes in half the time it used to take. There are so many settings on this machine that are adjustable. Plus the dryer has sensors that tell it when your clothes are dry and it turns off the cycle. It also allows for 2.5 hours of tumbling to help keep your clothes wrinkle free!!

This review is about both the washer and dryer. I purchased the washer and dryer set and they're pretty good. We're a family of 3 and we do on average 2 small to medium sized loads of laundry each day. Maytag has a 10 Year Warranty, so we'll so how well the appliances hold up. Both appliances have very large capacities. I have to get on my tip-toes to reach into the 5.3 cu ft washer. I can fit 2 king size pillows easily into the dryer. One problem I experienced already though is the washer wasn't balanced properly during Best Buy delivery and installation. A couple weeks later the front, right leg fell off and the washer was going all over the place. Fortunately I was home to shut it off. I've scheduled Best Buy service to come back, but of course that's more time off from work for me. Not exactly how I want to use my vacation days. Another issue with both appliances is that the Start/Pause button is not lined up properly with the mechanics behind the touchscreen and I have to kind of run my finger around the button until it starts. Bottom line is if I can get more than 6 years out of these 2 appliances then they'll be the front runner of all washers and dryers I've owned over the past 25 years. I know it sounds cliche, but they really don't make them like they used to. Would I recommend these appliances to anyone? Sure, why not. It's not like the Whirlpool, Bosch, or GE washers and dryers I've had in the past performed well.

Has all the features I need and works great. The lint trap is a little difficult to clean out (plastic structure makes getting into the bottom of it more tricky), but I'm also obsessive with cleaning out meticulously after every cycle. Buttons/dial are easy to use and offer all the options I need.

Our last dryer (Samsung) lasted for 1 year. :-( This dryer has been going strong for 3 months now and has performed great! All of our clothes get dry on the FIRST run through. Our comforter takes a little longer (cal-king), but is still faster drying than previous dryers. Another great point with this dryer is how it helps separate animal hair from our bedding. It also has a great wrinkle free drying cycle that works as it should. I am confident this dryer will last for many years through this rough family!

Upgraded to a Bravos XL washer and found that the dryer we had was not large enough to handle the workload - This one sure does. Good and Quiet. Like the many features and cycle choices and options. It was a very good / sound addition to the Bravos XL washer. Thumbs up and definitely worth it...

This dryer is huge! Which is a plus when paired with the matching washer that handles a large load. I have also found this to be much quieter than other dryers I've used. The unit looks great and controls are easy to navigate. It is a bit of a gas hog, but that's expected for any dryer this size.

Have had the dryer for a couple of months now. Love the large size because it fits large loads with ease. It runs quietly and is easy to use. The LED light inside is nice and bright and the lint screen is super easy to clean. Very happy with this purchase!

This dryer has a large capacity. It is easy to choose different settings. It seems efficient because it automatically shuts off once the clothes are dry. It is efficient at keeping the clothes from getting wrinkled.
