In the tradition of the MOH series the graphics are great, the story line is well thought out, and it's intense. The game disc also included the original MOH Frontline, which is what got me hooked on the series in the first place.

Great game overall. Liked how it looked, felt, and played. Loved the audio! Wish boss battles were their own thing rather than a rip of other games.

Good game, but not as great as COD MW. The game took me 10 hours to beat, the multi-player is very good! I bought this for 10$ on deal of the day, what a deal!

The storyline was amazing. I heard that EA have teamed up with real troops in Afghanistan to build the realism in the game, and it shows. I agree that it was short (only complaint about campaign mode), but then again that's what you see with today's generation of FPS because there's multiplayer. Also, the mission in the game was based off of a real mission done in the Middle East. Multiplayer is pretty fun as well. There are some problems here and there (Frontline spawning is too obvious, all snipers are one shot, one kill no matter where you shoot). Hopefully these can be fixed through future updates. The multiplayer is a small version of Battlefield Bad Company 2; it's still fun don't get me wrong. Overall, I was impressed with the game. It feels good to play a different FPS other than MW2. I was tired of the campers, noob-tubing, hacks, etc. I'll be enjoying this game until KZ3, Socom 4, or maybe Black Ops come out.

Hadn't played a Medal of Honor game since the original was released for the PS1 back in '99. I completely ignored the other Medal of Honor titles for the PS1/PS2...I was too busy playing the Call of Duty games. But now that I own this new Medal of Honor, Black Ops just sits in its case (unless I want to frag some zombies). Why do I feel that Medal of Honor deserves your hard-earned dollars? Although I beat the single player campaign rather quickly (six hours) on medium difficulty on my first time through, I'm guessing that setting the difficulty to hard would really make the game a challenge. I walked away from my quick conquest of the campaign feeling a little disappointed...but all that changed once I fired up the online multi-player. Wow! Really intense. The graphics are top-notch (comparing the details of the facial features of the soldiers in CoD vs MoH...MoH wins by a landslide). The ambient noises in the maps are top-notch (birds chirping, etc...very high attention to detail by the MoH crew). The controls are very precise (although I do miss being able to lay flat on the ground in multi-player), and the run/slide feature is great when heading for cover. Although you can't lie prone in MoH multiplayer, CoD is more aggravating as I can't seem to turn when lying prone against a wall...and don't tell me that adds to CoD's realism either; it's just poor programming. I find myself trying to like CoD: Black Ops, but I keep loading MoH instead. There's even less cursing in MoH...Black Ops drops more F-bombs in the first mission of campaign mode than MoH has in the whole game. Which brings me to another big plus for MoH...there's an option to allow headset audio from only your Friends, only your team, or shut down the endless headset chatter completely...a feature that Black Ops really needs to add. I don't like being forced to endure endless F-bombs and constant chatter from people on headsets, and with MoH you can shut them up with a simple setting under options. No need to mute everyone individually in the game lobby like Black Ops currently forces you to do. Which reminds me of another big plus for MoH...waiting for your multiplayer game to start. Once you login to MoH multiplayer and choose your game type, you aren't stuck in a game lobby twiddling your thumbs...there's a screen that pops up describing the map you're about to play and a list of gameplay hints that you can scroll through while the map loads. It's a better use of my time than what CoD makes me endure...staring at player names as people enter/leave the CoD game lobby. Living out in the middle of nowhere, my only option for "high speed" internet is wireless, but I rarely have speed issues. Every once in a while someone will stab me to death after I just emptied an entire clip into their head and torso, but that's due to my internet speed, not the MoH servers. All in all, MoH trumps CoD...and in a big way; for me at least. Medal of Honor just seems to be a higher quality game with more attention to detail. Will I still play Black Ops? Probably...mainly because I spent $60 on it and I'm still waiting for it to impress me. I play Medal of Honor because it's fun. Enough said.

    Great single player, okay multi

Both the single and multi player look and sound amazing. This has probably the best shooting physics and sound I've ever seen in a shooter. The single player campaign is short, but the content and story are amazingly well done and have an excellent flow. The multiplayer is solid, but doesn't do enough to separate itself from other shooters. Graphically it's excellent, but DICE could have added more to it for sure. The maps are excellent with several key choke points and areas where tactic and approach are more important that being a good shot. I'd liken this game to being more like SOCOM on a tactical and strategic level. If you run and gun you won't last long. I'm not a CoD fan, but they do a good job with the extras...kill cams, perks, etc. If you're looking for a change from CoD, this game is definitely worth a purchase. If you're looking for CoD, you won't be happy with it, but then again you wouldn't be happy with anything else anyway...

I don't normally write reviews but so many ppl bash this game I had to.I love it, the single player mode is great I do agree it could have been a little longer tho, online is awsome they graphics look amazing on both the maps are perfect size the wepons are nice the realism and so is the sound all on point it really takes a team effort most times to win a match & I like the fact its 2 teams per match 12 vs12 the killstreaks give you call strikes a plus & winning a match is based on points not kills so you can end a match fast or long enabling you to rack up on kills & when you kill the enemy it does not give up your location which is a BIG + for me I hate Kill Cams. The buildings are destroyable but not all like BFBC2 The things I dont like are the repsawn is uncontrollable you pop up where most of your team are & sometimes its a setup for instant death and there is no prone stance.

this is a great game even though the campaign is kinda short only lasting about 5 hours and is super easy to beat so i reccomend playing it on hard and for the multiplayer its pretty good its like mw2/bad company 2 but isnt the best ive played its a little buggy at times but overall a great experiance and great game i would reccomend this to many people who like shooters but if you hate bad company i wouldnt suggest it because dice made the multiplayer part of the game.plus the single players graphics are different looking than the multiplayer part but both are really great and top notch

As we all know the Medla Of Honor is a great title and has a great history of shooter game.. To me this game is better then Call of Duty. It has a nice and not too short story and the graphics are amazing, at one point during one mission I was getting out of the helicopter and for a second i thought Im watching a real movie not playing a game. Yes it get like that a lot. Nice Multiplayer! The only thing is maps in Multi are small but for some people it might be a good thing. So guys and girls let go of CoD for a sec and buy this one as well. On the top of that almost every MoF if not all of them contain a Medal of Honor Frontline, older game but why not refresh some memories.

-Single player: Pros:Fast paced, amazing beautiful scenery, sounds amazing, intense story line Cons: Story line does not have a personal touch, doesn't connect you to the characters, not enough variety. -Multiplayer: Pros: Solid weapons, gear, etc., killstreaks offensive and defensive are genious.good map design, immediately in the action, fast paced Cons: Terrible variety in ranks, unlocks, weapons, gear, attachments, just very simple. Need more killstreak variety Summary: Good solid comback shooter for Medal of Honor. Fun to play and challenging. Needs more variety that will hopefully appear in the next one. No long term value though. Still recommended.

I was a huge fan of MOH on the PS2. I bought this on release day and I finished the campaign mode in 4 hours. very disapointed at the length of the campaign. What was there was good. Graphics were very good, only one glitch the whole time I played. Online, not even close to competing with COD franchise. The graphics are very good, game play is good. just too few maps. Overall its a fun game. It was a let down, definitely not as good as it was hyped.

    Fun Game, Honest Review

Alright, well this game has seen a lot of bad reviews and everyone has their own opinion. I myself have always been a fan of the Medal of Honor series so I went and picked this up on day one. I played the campaign and yes it is short but a lot of FPS games seem to be shortening up their campaigns so players can jump into the multi-player. If your looking for an amazing single player experience, you won't find it in this game. You will find a fun one but nothing to blow you away. I myself really enjoy the online play. Sure it is nothing groundbreaking but it is fun. I haven't ran into any of the glitches and problems a lot of people have seen so maybe I am just lucky. I will admit that it is kind of short on maps but I imagine there will be some DLC down the road to fix this. As for now I am completely content with the online play and have been playing it since it came out. I think with an update and a map pack this will be a really solid game. My advice is that if your on the fence about this one, then just rent it and give it a try. I think it is at the least worth a rental and I definitely do not regret this purchase. I'm not sure why this game has had so many poor reviews because it really doesn't deserve them in my opinion. A lot of games these days tend to ship with some bugs and all of these are fixable through an update. Again if your considering this game definitely rent it and give it a shot. It is a fun and enjoyable game.

Game has a good quality and well scripted framework. I know exactly what i am doing and what i am expected to do. I only gave it 4 stars because its not something that i can play for hours unlike God of War or Split Second, but still a good game. I would recommend it.

I've had the privelage of owning a MOH titled game before. This game has a good campaign mode that I could really get into. The graphics are excellent and the gameplay and controls are set up perfectly. The online is difficult, yet addicting. I have not been able to play this game for less than an hour at a time yet. There are some little glitches which EVERYONE is going to complain about at one time or another, but I suggest going out and at least renting the game to give it a try.

I have been playing the BETA for about 2 days and i noticed that the melee attacks are faster, the guns are nice, and the graphics are amazing. This game is about the war in Afghanistan. I thought the beta was a very good game but it does need some touch ups like including a killcam because it just freezes when you die and you don't know who killed you and ive been killed from nothing before

all opinons are my personal feelings and the ratings I gave are prerelease and may change after owning the game. I was one of the few early beta testers and loved the multiplayer setup everything was fast and never lagged. I played for hours on the same map learning new hidding areas and learning my opponants way of run and gun. The graphics are amazing I prefer them over COD4 and MW2 (which were great games). Sound effects were so beautifully done when I played using surround sound I felt as though I was there, I swear a bullet flew by my head. I cant wait to see what the single player is like, let along more of the online maps. Cant wait for this game.
