|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seeing the Memorex Armband AM/FM radio took me back to the late 80s–before CDs, music apps, and high-end headphones were a thing. I was excited by the simplicity and portability that this radio offered. Setup was self-explanatory and all the components needed were included in the box. While I’m not the biggest fan of the neon accent color on this radio, I am a fan of its ease of use. It was easy to program the station presets, the reception was better than average, the sound was fairly clear and the volume was really loud. To me the profile on this product seemed to be a bit bulky for an armband radio. I would have preferred it be thinner and more streamlined. While I didn’t actually jog with it on, I did travel up and down stairs and in and around my house cleaning. The band did a good job of holding it in place but it just seemed a bit awkward and bulky to me. I am not a fan of the included ear buds. Three different sets of ear tips are included but none of them offered a comfortable fit for me. This however is a cheap and easy fix – you can replace them with any headphones/ear buds that you may like. All in all I have no major complaints. This radio is very basic, has a great price-point, and delivers as promised. What more could you ask for?
