i luv the battery backup system & the dual alarm system. i can set 2 different alarm xs & have snooze on each one. I can play my cd r the radio. the battery backup system z great 2 have do 2 electric outage n storms. it fits on my nitestand easily.

We needed something for my grandson to listen to when going to bed. He seems to enjoy listening to his CD and seems to sleep better. We haven't listened to the radio or used the alarm so I can't say anything about that.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter. Works great except it is hard to set the alarm. Once figured out, not too hard. Good reception for the radio. Great size..

I found the item a bit complicated to set up but I like it's size, sound and large digital time. I am happy I purchased this and would recommend it to my friends.

Compact and good sound from speakers. Bright numbers that can be dimmed and display in military time if desired. Just make sure it's on a solid surface or CDs will skip.

I expected a better quality of sound from Memorex. It works for an older person as it is easy to operate.

The Memorex - CD Alarm Clock Radio is definitely functional. I had to buy it in a hurry when my other one broke. This was the only type left at BB after BB had a sale on alarm clock radios. The radio works fine, unless there is interference with the antenna and then the sound can get fuzzy. It offers the choice of using one or two alarms, which can be useful if you need something beyond a snooze feature to wake up or you and your partner/spouse want to use the same unit to wake up at different times. My main issue is with the setting the alarm. You have the option to use 24 hour or 12 hour timing, but you have to cycle through the 24 hour selection first. It isn't always clear if it changed from 24 hour to 12 hour and sometimes I have to do it 2-3 times to make sure it has the correct time set on the alarm. I found the alarm feature on my last clock radio easier to set and use because I could go forward or backward to set the time. The Memorex is not as intuitive. Also, I wanted to play a CD on it, but the CD function is not straight forward. You have to reset the alarm button on the side to the CD selection as if you were changing it for your alarm rather than just using the CD player. Once you are done playing a CD, you have to go back and change the selection back to radio or buzzer to have the alarm play the sound that you prefer to wake up to. A little inconvenient and annoying. I did not find clear instructions on how to make this change in the instruction booklet, either.

Excellent Clock Radio with CD Player that you can set to turn off. My mother-in-law listens to books on CD's at night and this is perfect because she falls asleep within 15 minutes and you can set the timer to turn off. Very easy to use. She is on her third one!!! Don't stop selling this product as there are still a lot of people who checkout cd's from the library to listen to.

Our alarm clock with phone died after 20 years so decided to go with DVD player instead. Works great-bought at a great price. Will recommend to others!

Overall a good clock, cd, radio combination. It is easy to use, sound is clear, and compact enough for small table.

Got this radio because it had an aux jack and CD player Only wish when aux was plugged in it would not go to aux as I use a long cable and it is a pain to plug and unplug the aux cord from unit

I bought this as a gift for my mom and she absolutely enjoys it. Sound quality is pretty good and comes in handy

We had been looking for just a old fashion bedroom alarm clock and found exactly what we wanted at Best Buy.

Love that you can play your own music in the c d player.the larger read out can be viewed from across the room.

You get what you pay for and then some with this little fellow. Keep it on a stable surface while using CDs but other than that works like a charm.

We wanted a simple alarm clock with a CD player. They used to be everywhere, but not any more. This one does exactly what we want, but has dual alarms. The best part? It didn't break the bank. There were others out there that cost significantly more. Now, don't be fooled by the Memorex name. It used to mean something - but not any longer.

Two alarms . . needed . . and falling asleep to music . . a pleasure; really like when I don't have to 'set' the alarm and can just look at the time on a day off now and then . . :)

We were looking to replace a similar CD/clock radio and found this...very happy with this purchase...priced right and nice and simple.

A little difficult to setup and setting the alarm can be frustrating. It seems the last couple of clock radios I've had were similar.

For those of you that want to wake up to your own music, this is a product that works well, as well as being very easy to use.
