The best toy that I bought in my life, I thing everybody must to try once in your life this device. Is not a simple screen game, is more than it, you can watch Google on 360° and watch movies on Netflix.

My 14 year old son has been asking for this VR system all year. He got it this year for Christmas he has played it a handful of times and seems to really enjoy it. I am glad i got the rechargeable charging port to go a long with it because it seems to only last him 2 hours of game time before the head set needs to charge.

I was skeptical about how good this was going to be, but I have been truly shocked at how good this device functions.
The interface is easy to use and customizable, the applications/games don't take much space.
There is a program that can even your hand movement, so to navigate the basic interface you don't need the controllers (must be setup to do this).
It is possible to watch YouTube 180 and 360 degree videos and the experience is incredible. I haven't tried other movie apps but they exist.
The sound is clear and immersive. The graphics and color is great, not blurry as with older VR setups. I haven't experienced any eye strain like older VR either.
Controllers use 2 AA batteries (included and installed) and I haven't had to replace them yet. Headset charges quickly and using the included (and attached) straps is comfortable. Comes with various attachments for glasses and such but I haven't needed them and I wear glasses. I use the device without my glasses and it's perfect.
Warnings: Res Evil 4 can make you a bit sick if you are standing when your character moves. So far, that's the only game that I have experienced this with.
Also, when browsing the "store" be sure to read the reviews. Some 3rd party applications have not been updated in a while, so that's something to watch out for.
Overall, this is an amazing device. I would recommend it to anyone and if you know someone who has it, try it out first.

The Meta Quest 2 Resident Evil 4 Bundle is a game-changer in the world of virtual reality gaming. This device has exceeded all my expectations, providing an unprecedented immersive gaming experience that is truly second to none.
The VR headset itself, the Quest 2, already stands as one of the most advanced all-in-one VR systems out there. With its high-resolution display, intuitive controls, and comfortable design, it's perfect for extended gaming sessions. The 256GB storage capacity ensures that you will never have to worry about running out of space for your games.
But what makes this bundle shine is the inclusion of Resident Evil 4, one of the most iconic games in the horror genre, remastered for VR. The transition from traditional gaming to VR has been executed flawlessly, maintaining the core elements of the game that made it a classic while enhancing the user experience with VR-exclusive features. Being able to experience the thrill and horror of Resident Evil 4 in a fully immersive VR environment takes the game to a whole new level.
In terms of performance, the Meta Quest 2 runs smoothly, with no noticeable lag or glitches during gameplay. The graphics are crisp and detailed, making the horror elements of Resident Evil 4 even more compelling.
Overall, the Meta Quest 2 Resident Evil 4 Bundle is an absolute must-have for any VR gaming enthusiasts or fans of the Resident Evil series. It's not just about playing a game; it's about living it. And this bundle delivers just that - a high-quality, immersive gaming experience that transports you into the world of Resident Evil. Highly recommended

This is a very cool console center. It immerses you right into the games you are playing. You can experience many games socially, I just played mini golf with my son who also has this, he lives two hours away from me. By the way, as soon as my two adult sons tried mine, they immediately went out and each bought one. There are games and things to do for most of the family, I'm in my 60's and there's plenty for me to do. It's not just for gaming. It's a new way to experience visual media. Fly along with people in the sky or explore oceans, it puts you right there! Videos and TV are blown up to the size of a movie screen. Its also a great way to get some exercise. There are arcade experiences that can get you up on your feet, some that will make you perspire profusely. If you've ever played on a Wii console you'll enjoy this! Its like Wii on steroids. The downside is that It's one person gaming. It would be nice if developers made more games that let more people play on a single headset. The downsides are getting used to having the headset on your face for hours. Some of the experiences, like flying or riding on roller coasters, can make you a little whoosy. Finding yourself transported to the edge of a cliff can be a little visually stressful at first. I've read that keeping your time short on them, helps you acclimate to those games. Batteries will only hold a couple hour charge but I find that to be enough time for me. There are extra batteries or cords that can extend play. There also are things you can purchase to make the console more comfortable. I can see a person spending a bit more money on comfort and longevity. Everyone that's tried mine has enjoyed it and gone out and purchased one for themselves. I guess that says a lot!

This was a Christmas present for my 9 year old son. He loves it, but the joke now is that it belongs to mom. My wife has some medical issues, and is unable to stand for long periods of time. Playing Beat Saber on the Meta Quest gives her a chance to exercise.
Complaints - I do not like the fact that to get a comfortable head strap, I have to spend extra. I also think the computer connection cable is overpriced. Also, technically you should be 13 to use it. I understand why Meta wants it that way, but for what this device is designed for, that's foolish.
I'm looking forward to adding some games to it.

The product overall is pretty sweet. I wish it wasn't so heavy on your head, after a while you start to get a headache. The battery life needs an upgrade for sure and some of the graphics need improving. Most of us get motion sickness and some games we can't do. The design is sleek and modern. The controllers are easy to use. My kids love beat saber! Especially my 5-year-old. I personally love the fitness. I canceled my gym membership because this is actually fun and I'm getting better result although I think that has more to do with the fun factor and me doing it more consistently. There are extra attachments you can buy for extra battery life and to cushion or adjust the weight of the headset better, but it would just be nicer if you didn't have to add extra things to the headset when its already too big and bulky. But overall, I would recommend this product. Maybe they will improve upon it in future versions.

My son loves this, though I can not create an account for him as Meta arbitrarily restricts the accounts to age 13 or greater. I attempted to make an account for a 13-year-old, but no matter what I tried, Meta would not allow me to link my adult account to the minor's. The games are populated with mostly players less than 13 years of age. Meta needs to change this policy and let parents decide what is best.
The device itself works very well. Even the menu and hub worlds are very interesting. I bought a link cable and tried out No Man's Sky in VR. I tried Beat Saber, and a few other games. Unfortunately, after just a few minutes of play, the headset becomes unbearably painful on the face. There's no way to focus, and moving the lenses between their three positions doesn't help. The focal point is not in the right position and the device is front/top heavy. You MUST lift and lower your head to look up and down. This is unnatural. Maybe I'm too old. I was excited and wanted to buy a second one of these. I figured I'd get used to the discomfort. Then came the NAUSEA. It was really interesting teleporting around in the game, in No Man's Sky, but I wanted an experience more close to the game itself or to reality, so I changed the movement system to smooth which is similar to the default when playing the game on desktop. I became INSTANTLY nauseated with motion sickness. Even after standing still, it was unbearable. I have not played with this thing since as I no longer have any interest due to the discomfort combined with the nausea. My son, who is technically too young for Meta to care about, absolutely loves it, and most of the games that you find in the store are geared toward his age group. Gorilla Tag, for example, is definitely for someone less than 13 yrs of age.
Anyway, if it werent for the nausea, I would have given this 5 stars. My advice is to find someone with one and borrow it for a week and use it as much as possible. You'll know right away if it's right for you and you can potentially save a lot of money if you're like me and highly susceptible to motion sickness.
