Was gifted a Quest 2 and loved it so I got the Quest 3. This is by far the best VR headset that you can buy currently on the market. It's fast, responsive, the lenses are so much better, and the passthrough blows the 2 out of the water. I highly recommend this if you're wanting the best possible experience in VR. Add a custom strap and facial interface, and it's incredibly comfortable too, though the default items aren't the worst.

I had been wanting to get a VR set for a long time and after doing some research I went and bought the Meta Quest 3 and in my honest opinion it is a absolutely stunning and incredibly immersive experience, with tons of games and apps to explore, the only things I would argue that you need to ready for is to buy a better headstrap that you can use batteries on to charge it with because the battery can drain quickly depending on how much you use it. But overall if your looking for a fun and comfortable experience outside anything anyone’s ever had from staring at a screen of either a computer or TV for video games this is something that will definently be different and surprising.

I bought the Meta Quest 3 because of all the hype Apple created with the Vision Pro around AR/VR and Mark Zuckerberg's video pitching the Quest 3 as a better product, the Quest 3 is truly a spacial computer - the windows stay in one place when you move around... the Meta ecosystem is really good, all the social apps integrate well with the headset... I got the 512GB one and filled it up with movie files I have on my computer to watch on Skybox VR App via USBC - the content watching experience is amazing in your own personal cinema inside that App, you can't see any pixels, plus Netflix, Prime and YouTube have Apps... I also use it as a monitor for my Mac... it's amazing having a 100 inch or foot screen to work with (depends on what size screen you want and how far away you want it to be, it looks like a real screen is in your space with passthrough video), it even allows for multiple screens something you can't do with a Vision Pro... it now feels weird and super small to use the screen of my laptop... The other day a notification came up asking me to join in the Metaverse and watch an NBA game in Horizon Worlds App, it was like being courtside, you can look up/around and move around a digital stadium that integrates with the 360 video of the court, there are no ads, so you get to see the action in the timeouts, and you can talk to other people in the Metaverse who are there... reviews have concluded that the Apple Vision Pro is used best for content consumption and so is the Meta Quest 3, there is no reason to pay 7 times more... and you don't get to miss out on VR/AR, even though the headset is plastic, it feels like a high quality product that was thoughtfully designed... as an online review said... "the Quest 3 lets you experience the new version of immersive internet"... I got Anker's biggest power bank, so I can watch content and use it after the battery dies, it works well... Meta has 10+ years experience with the Oculus Rift, the various versions of the Quest and you can tell the Quest 3 is a mature product, the 4 will be amazing with all the competition from Apple igniting this war...

When VR was announced I thought it was the dumbest thing I ever heard. Who will want a mini tv strap around their face and stand up to play. Boy was I WRONG. This is a game changer. I actually stream my pc to the VR and play there instead of my actual monitor. The quality is better. I can Bluetooth my xbox controller to the headset. Watching movies is also a game changer it actually looks more 4k than my tv. Playing actual VR games are fun but you need good space for some games. Like sword games because you will swing your arms and hit the wall or something. The VR changes your perspective in games and they do feel a bit more realistic. You can also watch VR videos in the metaquest media and it is different than watching just a video. Everyone should try VR. I would say start slow at first to avoid motion sickness. Use it 20min no more the first 2 weeks till you get use to

Pretty incredible! However, for Meta to not include a comfortable head strap with the purchase of a $500+ product is the equivalent to serving a Thanksgiving meal of exclusively turkey with no gravy and zero side dishes. The battery runs out very fast as well, so expect to spend an additional $120+ on Meta’s ‘Elite Strap with Battery’ so that you can comfortably enjoy your product and also extend the battery life to a reasonable length of time.

The Ocusus 3 blew me away the setup was a breeze, and I was diving into mixed reality in minutes. The visuals are crisp and vibrant, and the motion tracking feels incredibly smooth and natural. I wore it for hours without discomfort, which is rare for gear like this. Honestly, it nails everything I hoped for in a headset i give it a solid 5 out of 5.

Definitely one of the best gaming vr headset I’ve used. I’ve never felt dizzy using it and the everything always looked so crisp and smooth. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get into vr gaming

Fairly easy to set up on pc with reasonable technical skills. I have enjoyed playing games, watching youtube music videos, and some educational applications. Meta Quest 3 is truly fantastic for Elite Dangerous with the throttle, pedals, and joystick. This was my primary motivation for the purchase. I do like the fact that you can download directly to the Meta Quest 3 and detach from the PC. Two strong recommendations. 1. get the 512gb. If you cant afford it, save up and then get it. 2. Get as usb 3.2 cable that allows you to play and charge simultaneously for PC usage. A regular usb c to your pc will charge but not fast enough to play and keep up with the draw on battery. You will need to plug your usb c into an outlet. The cables are designed to do this. I have not used the cable while moving, as I sit in a chair for Elite, so I dont know how that works. Otherwise I get about 1.5 hrs on Elite before stopping to recharge. enjoy.

I’m absolutely amazed! I was considering getting the 3S/3, but I’m so glad I chose the 3. As a first-time VR user, I have to say, “Wow!” The graphics are incredible, and the interaction is spot-on. It’s definitely a must-have if you’re into VR.

Overall a fun to have a mess with (especially when catching up on new shows) - definitely get the imax experience. The only downside is the battery life. After catching up on a one hour show (streaming) - went from 100% battery to about 20%. Other than that it’s a fun little addition to your entertainment if you want to drop the money on it.

Easy set up and loads of fun free games made this the perfect gaming system especially to connect with my grandsons. It has zero lag yet I’m not tethered to a computer, altrhough I have found my left controller disconnects often and now I’m having issues with my in-game microphone. Customer support is pretty good but we’ll see how they handle this situation. The comfort of their headset takes time because it’s a new sensation. The straps are adjustable so once you find the right fit you can wear it for hours with little to no discomfort. It will get sweaty so sharing it is not ideal unless you use something to protect your face. The battery is pretty good, it lasts about 3-4 hours (depending on the game) and it charges back up quickly. I found standing on a small rug in the middle of my boundary prevents mishaps as I found myself physically moving. I also figured out that easing in with 10-15 min per use and building up extended my ability to play longer without feeling nauseous afterwards.

The quest 3 really good. The lenses have a higher field of view than the quest 2. You get better colors from the lenses. You can do 120 fps on it, and it’s more powerful than the quest 2. The pass through to be able to see the real life space around you is like a night and day difference. With higher resolution on most games and more stable frames, I feel the quest 3 is a worthy upgrade.

Whst have i been doing wothout a meta quest for so long? I am brand new to VR. I bought this to work out. So far has exceeded my expectations in every way. I added some accessories to make it comfortable. The content available for the meta quest is amazing. Getting at Best Buy make sure u check out their extended warranty. If u are thinking about this, just get one!

Over all an amazing console/ device thingy. I got the quest 2 as a Christmas present in 2024 and i worked my butt off for the quest 3. I bought it and it was SO WORTH IT!! this was my first console purchase and i would recommend for anybody. Its camera is extremely good and the graphics are surreal. Overall 100/10!

Here is the deal, in not so many words.. we are talking the best version of mobile VR. I've tried the HTC vive. I've tried the PSVR 1 & 2, this takes all the cake. The way they use the full screen to go from one site to the other and make it so no fringing happens in the edges is game changer. The weight can be something if a manage but if you get the update headband with battery aftermarket this was the way to go. The operation flawless if you have ever operated a RV this can be somewhat tedious,not with the Meta quest 3. Now we went with the 3 because the 3S did not have the same firepower, the battery was better but if you're spending the money get the 3. In conclusion you don't have to mess with stuff here, the MQ3 is by far the easiest to use. Don't waste time get going, this is it!

All of the associates were more than willing to help me and take their time answering a lot of my questions and gave me good advice on what to purchase, also what the devices were capable of. They also explained it in a way that made perfect sense for a guy like me that isn’t tech savvy. Definitely will be my store of choice moving forward. I bought the Meta Quest 2 in April “24 because it was on sale and I just fell in love with it. So much so that I had to buy the Meta Quest 3 eight months later (Dec “24) and it does not disappoint. After playing games and watching videos on VR, it’s hard to go back to the old consoles on my TV although I still do, I prefer VR above all the rest. Meta Quest 3 does not disappoint and the clarity compared to the 2 is so much more clear. There’s still a slight blur to some things, but you can see a whole lot more detail now. Controls are much more smooth and responsive and it’s a lot nicer not having those big bulky rings on the controllers. Overall, I love it and to me it was worth every penny. *I strongly recommend getting a replacement head strap right away and grips for the controllers. The stock strap is still horrible (front heavy) like on the the two. The pictures I share will have both of those upgrades.

one of the best purchases ive made in a long time this quest is very worth it and i have a great time playing my games i have not had any problems with lag at all.
