I recommend it widely.

If you want to extend your gaming sessions, we would recommend grabbing a Quest Elite Strap with Battery. Not only does it provide a more comfortable gaming experience, it also provides up to an additional 2 hours of game time!
Way better except for battery

I love the color passthrough that allows a whole different element with AR gaming. The only thing that hasn't improved is the battery life. The 3s is cheaper due to having some limitations in graphics and lenses but has longer battery life. I think spending the extra $100 for the 3 is worth it.
