Graphics are awesome headset is very heavy

I do find the headset to be much heavier then the Meta quest 2. The controllers aren’t as comfortable as the old style as well. It’s extremely submersible and if you have any motion sickness problem, this isn’t for you. The upgrades are the lenses which I appreciate the clarity and the sound and volume are much more engaging. I love working out with this. I had to buy a comfortable head strap and mask eye piece. The strap and eye mark it comes with are horrible and uncomfortable. I ordered hand grips as well since the controllers are much more uncomfortable.

The new lense design in this model is the best yet . You have a much better field of view now and the processor is a significant jump forward! Bulld quality overall seems good . My only advice would be to get the add on battery strap . It is a pretty hungry power user , the additional battery capacity will definitely help keep you up and running for a greater amount of time .

If you want to get a bit more added comfort for longer sessions, we would suggest investing in the Elite Strap or the Elite Strap with Battery.
The latter option with battery aside from giving you a more comfortable and secure experience, also provides up to an additional 2 hours of gaming!

Thank you for the five star review! We've come a long way since the first headset. We're glad to hear that you joined us again on the Quest 3 and are having a great time! We agree that it's ideal for mixed reality experiences and the ability to easily go from VR to passthrough views is great.
Lots of fun w/ everyday use

Controller-less use is simplistic but cool when I don’t have the controllers at hand. My only problem is meta itself and the whole horizon app. It’s like a wannabe Roblox that’s forever built into the device. Link cable hasn’t worked yet but I’m not sure if there is any benefit to it. Don’t expect crazy clarity or performance when not plugged in, and 5G WiFi is necessary for SteamVR. Still I find enjoyment in plenty of VR games and media like YouTube.

We had the previous version and the boys say the quality is definitely improved. Interestingly, they are also better about cleaning the room because they need the space without hitting something although the unit has good safety measures regarding the safe perimeter.

VR to the max!

I would say start by sitting down using it. Then later movie towards standing. To help with the dizziness. The store is great easy to use. Out the box it charged enough to get you started. Do yourself a favor and get a better head strap the one that comes with it. It isn’t great. Watching you tube on it is awesome and if you pair with your windows pc or mac laptop it’s even better.
