Definitely worth the upgrade if you love playing the quest 2. I am blown away by how incredible everything looks and how fun it is to play games in mixed reality. Also, I always had a little trouble with being able to see clearly if the quest 2 didn't sit in exactly one certain position but that is completely gone in the quest 3. It is so much more comfortable and I can see so much more clearly no matter how I adjust it on my face. I even bought prescription lenses ahead of time because I didn't want to have the same issue and now that I am using the 3 I can see clearly even without adding the rx lenses I bought. I also underestimated how enjoyable mixed reality would be. This alone makes the upgrade worth it. I bought a halo strap and this in addition to it seeming like I have a wider field of view, and it being more comfortable, makes it easy to play for hours without getting a headache or feeling dizzy. If you have never owned a VR headset or played one this is the one you need to buy and if you have the quest 2 you won't regret upgrading!

Excellent, mixed reality is along a feature to buy this for. Will be nice when they can get performance and battery life on par to make the pass through a little less blurry. Definitely recommend if you already have a quest or your first venture into vr.

Compared to the previous model, this was without a doubt an upgrade, very comfortable to use, excellent graphics compared to model 2, battery is a little less efficient, but the speed, graphic quality and comfort make up for it without a doubt. Very satisfied.

I had a Quest 1 and upgraded to the Quest 3. I have to say I am SO glad I did (worth every penny). I would recommend getting the 512 GB model so you don't run out of space. I am most impressed with, the stunning quality of the pancake lenses and visuals, the augmented reality, the very clear passthrough camera, and the controllers have fantastic accuracy (great tracking, weight, and feel), and the built-in speakers are amazing. The items that most need improvement on are, environment/room scanning, which seems to need to be redone a lot and you still have to draw boxes around furniture, the mic is very low quality, batter life is less than 2 hours, the head strap is not very comfortable and hard to adjust, the glasses depth adjustment is a bit tricky to figure out, accessories like elite head strap with battery and charging station are about twice as expensive as they should be. Also, as with its predecessors, you cannot cast it directly to a TV you have only the option to cast it to your cell phone and then use that to cast it to your TV. The latency is so bad that the sound and video are a good 1 to 2 seconds behind. I would have expected Meta to figure this out by now.

The Quest 3 is a huge step forward in both performance and comfort. The graphics are noticeably sharper, the mixed reality features are surprisingly smooth, and the new pancake lenses make everything look clearer with less distortion. Setup is simple, and the standalone experience is powerful enough that I rarely need to connect to a PC. The controllers feel precise and responsive, and battery life is solid for daily use. With 512GB storage, I never worry about running out of space for games and apps. Definitely the best all-in-one VR headset on the market right now!

My kids really do love the VR, they like playing on the VR more than they might plan on their PS five slim and there’s so many different things they can do on their that they do like not just playing video games watching stuff and doing another live things with their friends it’s a really fun educational just as well as playing on it it’s a lot of fun to my kids and I do appreciate that they came out with video hands on and it helps with them exercise just as well thank you so much.

My 7 year old Grand daughter loves it! Not like other video games...this one the kids are getting exercise while playing the games and they get talk with kids around their age group. They are can learn how to Cook and Clean with this also. This is an Awesome Christmas Present..

They perfected it, much better than the previous, it is worth by far... bigger games are coming out and here is where the 512 Gb come into action, besides mixed reality, it changes everything, you will not regret, another new world that makes it more exciting... I recommend it widely.

The Meta quest 3 is absolutely amazing! I have tried other VR headsets before and this one tops them all! The quality is absolutely amazing. I don’t think you will get any better than this far as VR goes. Also, you had amazing tipping and handling. Nothing was damaged and the box was in perfect condition. I always get good quality stuff from Best Buy and rarely have any issues. If you have never played VR before the Meta quest 3 is the thing to get!

Best VR headset for both new and experienced users. It’s a great upgrade over the Quest 2, with much better clarity and detail. Feels less “front-heavy”. It’s also more powerful so you can take advantage of the graphics updates on many games and any Quest 3 exclusives. The color mixed reality passthrough is amazing compared to the grainy black and white passthrough of the Quest 2. Highly recommend.

The graphics are a huge step forward from the Quest 2. The Quest 3 is lighter and fits better on your head. The only downside is the battery life is not as good as the Quest 2. I use it in iRacing and the graphics improvement made racing even more realistic.

Alot more comfortable than the quest2. Runs alot smoother and has gear resolution, the safe boundaries are alot more intuitive. The only complaint i have is the spacer that is keeps your face away from the lenses tends to pop out when putting it on, it's easy to pop back in just a tad annoying

So I’ve owned this device for about 3 weeks now, during the end of week 2 I encountered proximity sensor issues where it would like cut out because it wasn’t detecting my head or face or something. But they seem to have mostly gone away? If you’re using this for pcvr be aware that meta quest app on pc is TERRIBLE, sometimes it requires a complete pc restart to link to the quest via cable and it’s just tedious and annoying sometimes. The headset itself has good graphics quality in my opinion but also a not so good battery life, it lasts around maybe 2ish hours when not plugged in, but when plugged into my pc using pcvr it lasts for about 5 hours. Which is enough for me to enjoy. Standalone quest hasn’t given me any bugs so props there I guess, but this thing is tedious for pcvr through meta link app. 1 more thing the cable it comes with is not a link cable, I recommend finding a usb 3.0 plus cable on amazon recommended 16ft.

The only negative about this product is that I get motion sickness. Every other aspect of it is impressive and groundbreaking. If you’ve never used VR, this will change everything.

FIRSTLY BEFORE START, NO FACEBOOK REQUIRED!! That’s right!! NOOOO FACEBOOK is neither required nor needed to use the Quest 3. You can link them if you’d like or you can just simply use your email address to sign up and go full solo. I was hesitant to ever buy any Meta Quest but was just so happy to see FB wasn’t needed. Now onto my review. I was pleasantly surprised by the Meta Quest 3 when I first turned it on. I’ve owned a PSVR for the PS4 Pro for many years now and have highly enjoyed it. While the Quest 3 does not exceed the visuals and fidelity of the psvr it does a great job of introducing you in the world of VR and AR/MRA. I purchased a few games as it had a good Christmas sale going. Asgards Wrath is fun and intuitive. Assassin’s Creed does nice giving you a good view of the world of AC. Music games are a wonderful flashback to Guitar Hero and the like as I have really missed that era. All without the need for extra plastic peripherals. And Mixed Reality games such as First Encounter which is free coming with the device showcases how clean and clear the front cameras are to the outside world and in. Battery life is what you’d expect, 2-3 hours. I use the headset on my bed the most because it can be hard to move from time to time standing up for myself and other medical conditions. In this case I have a long 10ft cable I currently use for my tablet and phone. Works well with my quest. I think it’s a 30 watt charger brick. It’s able to keep my device charge as I use it at the same time whenever I’m playing music games with my arms or watching YouTube VR and other video streaming apps. NEGATIVES: so if you’ve never used an Oculus Rift S, Steams VRs or PlayStation VR 1 and/or 2 you’ll have absolutely no idea how narrow the Quest is in comparison. For that reason you’ll be fine. If you have used the others as I have then it’ll instantly be obvious. The Quest is a little more akin to looking through binoculars. The immersive-ness isn’t as “you’re inside another world” as the psvr. It will take awhile of you actually playing the Quest 3 for it to hit as your brain adjusts to the differences. LCD LENS- the lens are lcd. When you’re in psvr and a game is loading or has a black background you’ll feel it. You’ll feel the depth and you’ll see what looks like the device being off (when loading) because of psvr OLED tech. It’s beautiful. The lcd on the Quest 3 can break immersion at times when it does use things such as the darkness in horror games. On the other hand the brightness is great and provides a nice view and color for anime and brighter media. And lastly just a few things to touch up on. The psvr had a straight view, but looking around you can see the lens abit blurry (if you’ve played it you’ll know what I mean). On the oculus rift 2 it has that “door” effect. The Quest 3 has none of these issues. It’s clean, it’s clear and has no window door effect nor blur around the edges. My only wish is for the next models to use OLED. It would make it sooooooo much better. I’d also like for a bigger view. The controls work perfect. The switching between VR in view and your outside surroundings is a quick switch. Cameras are clean. It can record anything you see and play which is a plus. It can track your hand movements. And it can also track via just pointing through your headset view and tapping the Volume button when it notices your controls or hands aren’t in view (switches to a white dot reticle inside your view). It can cast to your phone and chromecast. Records and screenshots automatically sync to your phone app. I have yet to try the pc air sync yet but I’ve read that it works well. And as for sound…..the Audio is excellent! I couldn’t believe how loud and bass heavy the built in audio was. All in all, a must buy for anyone wanting to get into VR. It is head and above the Quest 2. I’m pretty impressed even after owning a psvr and Rift S for years. Yes, it won’t match those but for what it is doing it truly is very, very well. And by the by, I have the 512gb model and currently used about 200gb which is more than the 128gb model. If you plan to use a few games 128 is enough. If you’re like me and are very crazy with downloading many games, videos (quest 3 has videos you can actually download to the storage and even upload to library for offline viewing which takes up space) AND recording sessions then go 512 as you can not add an sd card or any storages. Asgard Wrath 2 by itself is very large and THE largest game. 40ish gb. The other games are all less than 10gb. Assassins creed I want to say was between 10-20gb. So if you’ve been holding out, now is the time. And no Facebook? Highly, highly recommend the Meta Quest 3! Meta Quest 3 feels like a genuine step forward in VR. The visuals are noticeably sharper, the colors pop more, and the new mixed-reality passthrough actually makes you want to use it instead of avoid it. It’s lighter and more comfortable than the previous model, and the XR2 Gen 2 chip keeps everything running super smooth, even in demanding games. Hand-tracking is surprisingly reliable, and switching between real and virtual worlds feels natural. Battery life is still just okay, but overall the Quest 3 delivers an impressive, fun, and polished experience that makes VR feel more accessible and exciting than ever.

An absolutely flawless experience - I've never had this much fun with gaming! I previously owned the PSVR2, but it was a hassle with all the wires and constantly having to reset the play boundaries. With the Meta Quest 3, everything is simple and seamless. It's wireless, easy to use, and so compact- I can take it anywhere. Total game-changer.

I am loving it. Great picture quality and comfortable to wear for long duration. Mixed reality is amazing. A few improvements are required ; Battery life is not great , and a few glitches in software. Overall well made and Great VR for the price.

Best fitness tool ever created. Having a headset has helped me fix my back issues, I work from home and sit at a desk way too much. Being able to take a fun break while standing has been really nice. The Quest 3 is such good vale for the money compared to other headsets.

I've had 2x oculus rift PC VR headsets over the years and this was my first standalone headset purchase. I honestly only purchased the headset because of quest link and being able to use it as standalone or PC VR. The visuals for this headset are far superior to that of the rift that I owned, it looks absolutely gorgeous and very clear. The new pancake lenses are 1000% percent better than the old style lenses. The head strap that comes with the headset is complete garbage and very uncomfortable so purchasing a new one is pretty much necessary... Overall I'm happy with the purchase but a bit disappointed I'm the performance of PC VR via quest link... It definitely needs some improvements. Biggest disappointment for me was the pass through on the device. It is really cool the things you can do in AR but the pass through does not look nearly as good as they make it look, I'm lower lighting the image is extremely grainy but in will lit room looks a little better but still not that great. Also there's warping in the image which looks pretty bad at times. Wish the cameras were higher quality as it would make the experience much better If I were to go back I probably would have invested in a new PC VR headset instead but overall I'm fairly happy with the purchase.
