The battery life is the only thing that sucks...u will need a battery pack to play longer. The strap is uncomfortable after 30 mins of wear. It hurts my head read bad. But other than that...u will enjoy this device.

A total upgrade from the last Quest that he had. No more "glitching out" and he's able to stream and game with ease. They changed the design on the battery door for the controllers, too, which is a big deal. The old battery doors were really tricky to remove.

The only thing keeping me from using it more often is just the lack of software and games to play yet. When more games come out taking advantage of the power of this headset it'll be an easy buy.

The features are better as well. The games are smoother and run better. The B buttons on the control are just slightly too far away gor my thumbs, I just grip it a little differently for a second and I can reach them. I do not like the padding around my face, it absorbs sweat and is a little itchy and scratchy, but I'll replace it.

I loved it so much after getting this for my son, I went and got my own. I told my wife we are most likely to divorce, I live in VR now.

The visuals are great, watching movies on this thing is amazing, cinema experience. Youtube, prime, netflix all work well. Gaming wise, its great too. Personally, i prefer using it with my gaming PC on steam. Smoother, and far better library.

I purchased the quest 2 when it came out and was obsessed immediately. So much so that I have over 450 apps and games and another 100 so on steam vr to stream through my quest headset! This new quest three is a game cha get! Superior in every way!

Really Cool product with terrible battery life

Buyers beware that they will need a powerbank to use the meta quest 3 I really enjoy watching netflix in vr in theater mode using browser app. Also enjoy nba live games in VR. Only downside is the battery life is terrible. I could only watch half an nba game in vr or an episode and half of a netflix show. About an hour or so of battery life much less than the 2.5 hrs advertised. I recommend a powerbank for stationary use. I bought a 20k energizer power bank for watching nba vr and netflix. Some recommend the bobovr or elite strap with battery. I don’t use the meta quest for gaming so those may be better for vr games, but for watching netflix or nba in vr where you are stationary the energizer power bank is a no brainer for 20 bucks for so.
