You can go anywhere you want any time you want. I've met so many new friends. You can't but have a smile on your face while using the Quest 3

Okay Standalone VR - Not recommended for PC

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mainly purchased this VR to pair with my Computer and run Steam VR title but the picture quality and refresh rate were not impressive. Partly because I had the first Oculus and there’s no noticeable improvement for me at least. I also run title on a 240Hz OLED screen so that may also be why I wasn’t impressed. I tired both AirLink and the Meta link cable to connect to PC. When I got the cable I realized this VR was never meant to be paired with a PC as the cable had a USB A connection which isn’t optimal for Video Input. If it was a direct DP/HDMI to a mini HDMI port on the VR this would’ve utilized the full power of the 4080S GPU

In short, the technology is not quite as high as I would like for the present price point.

Great VR headset

One great thing is that it is standalone, but also can be plugged into a computer for Steam VR. You can also use sidequest to expand the apps available to you. This is my 2nd VR headset as had a HTC Vive before this. But it's so freeing to be able to take it with me places
