Best "bang-for-your-buck"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once you get it set up, just install Virtual Desktop and you can forget about using the Meta Software. Feels good. You still have to have an account or whatever, but you can just make it up using a Proton email. At it's price it's 100% the best bang for you buck. With the upcoming Steam Frame I would still suggest getting this one over Steams for the colored passthrough and tracking. There is no way the SteamFrame comes in below this price for what it is. You're more likely to see it upwards of the Pimax territory.

This new version has definitely been a smoother and more enjoyable experience overall. The device connects easily with other devices, has impressive visual quality, and feels very durable. It offers everything I was personally looking for in a VR headset, with tons of features and flexibility. Out of all the newer VR headsets Meta has released, the Quest 3 stands out. I would absolutely choose this version over the Quest 2.

Smaller but better

If you want something better, its going to cost twice the price and be a marginal upgrade at best. So if you really want a worthwhile upgrade, its going to cost 5x.

To my estimation slightly lighter than the 2. The unwired nature of the Quest devices is also a huge selling point to me. Some games can be played in mixed reality. This affords one the ability to know what is going on in their space, avoid mobile obstacles (toddlers), and to navigate without removing the device.

Is not worth full price..due to battery life...and the see through is awesome but not great. Thought i could use it on a regular basis. Bought extra battery and headband with fan it helps.

The best VR Standalone headset of all time.

And graphics are amazing thanks to the pancake lenses along with 58-70 mm IPD adjustment ensuring you have the best experience.

Great upgrade from the Quest 2

Quest 2 vs 3

The pancake lenses are a massive upgrade, way more fov. Every game ive come back to whether its on the quest shop or steam, I notice a much clearer picture. Its just all around a better headset. The worst part of it honestly is the elite strap, its extremely uncomfortable and i honestly recommend the kiwi headstrap.
