Good device - VR finally becoming usable

The motion tracking is amazing - virtual rooms remain rock steady regardless of head/body motion. The resolution of the eye display screens is good - watching movies in the virtual cinema is good. The pass through resolution is pretty weak, but good enough to make the mixed reality games enjoyable

The lenses do not have the lines so it makes everything so much clearer and crisp. It’s still a bit pricey though. Personally I don’t think it’s worth $649.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The headset is great, the overall quality of the materials seems pretty good and the built in speakers and mic help alot if you dont have bluetooth earbuds to use. The only downside i have to say about the headset is the comfort of the straps, they could add some extra support and padding to the back to keep the headset from sagging on your head over a small period of activity, and would also reduce some strain on the forehead.

The strap is under-designed, the actual goggles are still way to heavy even with a special strap I ordered separately, the software is confusing, and there is no real support for recording game-play through the actual googles without using the two eye model that is almost impossible to center without losing half of your UI off one side, the other, or top and bottom. If you want to use it for two hours at a time, its awesome. Don't recommend for longer gameplay yet. Sorry. I wanted this to be a lot better than it was.

I wish they offered a Display Port option but it is a great headset for the price. Very clear pancake lenses have a wide sweet spot. Pass-thru options are good too. You will want a different headstrap.

First VR

Totally next level! The MR is grainier than I expected from videos, but it's still very enjoyable. More lighting definitely helps. I also have very much been enjoying the hand tracking option. There's definitely a learning curve for a newbie, but it's not too steep.

I have to admit, I've had a chance to "test it out" myself and it really takes VR and gaming to a whole other level! No regrets with this purchase!

The Mixed reality gaming is so cool, Im back on the piano! My friends who have never played games ever love beat saber on the Quest 3. I love the Asgards Wrath 3 game that it came with, Awesome graphics and really cool interactive gameplay. I love playing games standing up!
