Alot more comfortable than the quest2. Runs alot smoother and has gear resolution, the safe boundaries are alot more intuitive. The only complaint i have is the spacer that is keeps your face away from the lenses tends to pop out when putting it on, it's easy to pop back in just a tad annoying

So happy I made this purchase. I had the original before it was Quest...this is on a totally different level. The new lenses and display really set it apart. So many cool games and experiences to check out too! Thinking of getting another for the girlfriend and kids to get on and play with me. Downsides: headstrap and battery are lacking in my opinion. These were the first things I upgraded and hapy I did.

I think this device is really cool. I like how you can control apps and some games with your bare hands instead of using the controllers for everything. I enjoyed the apps and the platformer games. The motion of the shooting games made me feel carsick, but I am in my 30's. I was dissatisfied with the battery life, but there are 3rd-party head straps with battery packs on them.

Wanna talk about an upgrade. The Meta Quest 2 is amazing! But the 3 takes it to a whole New level! The pancake lenses really make a huge difference! I got this and the 2 for my son. I have played both, this one is so realistic. We both love it and give it 4 thumbs up! You will not regret this purchase. He thought he was getting the 3S, but I thought if you are gonna upgrade might as well really upgrade. Plus added 2 year accidental with Best Buy and Geek Squad! Would have done longer if I could! For $100 extra that was a steal! I spent way more in 2 years with the 2 for broken parts! Get this instead of 3S if you are wanting to upgrade!

If you are only interested in PCVR save yourself a little money and get the 128GB model, but if you are looking to see what standalone VR can be like, the quest 3 is the new kid on the block, and has all its bases covered, good enough pass through cameras to actually navigate a room and understand what you are looking at. (Better lighting better pass through experience) More power than previous headsets including the Pro, released less than a year ago. Depth sensor that helps with setting up playspace and makes the pass through experience even better as you actually have a sense of distance unlike some headsets flat passthrough. Included strap is still bad, less bad than the quest 2 but still bad. And battery life is just shy of 2hours on average. It’s also more power hungry, so you will want a higher output battery pack than you used with the quest 2. Something with PD 3 that can output better than 18 watts is the way to go if you want to meaningfully extend your battery life. New controllers are great, no more rings, but the pro controllers would be better with their self tracking. Pancake lenses make a world of difference, I’ll be using this over my other headsets unless valves deckard comes out with the same kind of lenses and similar or better screens. Might jump ship for that. But this exists now, and that’s an unannounced unconfirmed datamined pipe dream.

I am disabled veteran who is very much into VR/AR/MR scene. This headset is definitely the best of them all yet in the short description. Itdoes everything better, for the lower price than Q2 Pro version. I could only point out two flaws in its design. No upper area dedicated tracking cameras (why oh why Meta?). You wouldn't think it is trivial matter to this space magic, but look at the games like The Thrill of Fight and notice such epic titles have no pure hand tracking in it. Why? That's due tothe fact that Q3 cameras are designed (at least at currecnt update) for controller tracking algorithms and not for hand tracking to save costs. If they added upper part cameras like on quest 2this would of probably had been the first true hands only vr headset in history with everything already going for it besides the flaw No.2 that hits it at 1 star. - The battery life on Quest 3 is really bad due to how much energy is required for those amazing graphics and amazing new features. The internal batter of Q3 at most will last you about an hour and half and about the same length with highly overpriced Meta elite strap, at about the same length as intense gaming on Quest 2 with no external battery. The best solution for this is unfortunately have multiple external swappable batteries or something like Bobovr headset that can swap external batteries on the fly.

A truly futuristic experience! The YouTube app alone is mind-blowing—it feels like having a private IMAX theater right in front of you. It’s a little tight for glasses wearers, but I found a way to make it work. Pro tip: use glasses with smaller frames, or consider the prescription lens inserts for the best experience.

Excellent, mixed reality is along a feature to buy this for. Will be nice when they can get performance and battery life on par to make the pass through a little less blurry. Definitely recommend if you already have a quest or your first venture into vr.

I came from the Quest 2 and after owning it for a few weeks, it suffered the fate of collecting dust for months on emd between usage. The Quest 3 is a massive improvement and game changer. The passrheough has enabled me to use it daily with out fail, and the improved lens and resolution make content clear and crisp. I say almost there, because the quality of the passthrough just needs a tiny bit better resolution and clarity. With that said it is still clear enough to read my phone screen, wash the dishes, and overall navigate my surroundings! A must have if its your first VR headset!

My son has been wanting this fof a few years now. Finally had the money for it and this thing is so fun to play with. M only complaint is the battery life.

2nd iteration in VR for me. This is a great place to start if you have no experience, and worth the upgrade if you have a previous generation. The passthrough is worth every bit of the upgrade. I use it mainly as a at home big screen movie theater when the kids are in the man cave, but opted for the larger storage due to increasing size and quality of apps coming out.

Pro: The Meta Quest 3 stands out amongst its competitors as being a fully wireless VR experience without compromising performance. It even directly competes eith Apples Vision Pro with its spatial computing abilities. Cons: Passthrough camera is very grainy and low quality, would like to see an improved spatial camera and bigger battery life next iteration. Overall, would recommend to anyone wanting to get into VR but might intimidated by all the options, you wont be disappointed with the Meta Quest 3

This is a must buy item if you are looking to have fun! I recently bought the Quest 3 as an upgrade from my Quest 2 and I don't regret it. The upgrade in the passthrough, processing power, lenses, and the overall headset itself is amazing. The headset is super lightweight and is perfect for long play sessions without discomfort. The lenses are very clear and the games run awesome compared to the Quest 2. The lenses even have a custom IPD adjustment to find the right fot for your eyes! The controllers feel amazing aswell since they fot your hands perfectly and they are very light like the headset. If you are buying this as a gift for someone or even yourself, I totally recommend it!!

Best VR headset for both new and experienced users. It’s a great upgrade over the Quest 2, with much better clarity and detail. Feels less “front-heavy”. It’s also more powerful so you can take advantage of the graphics updates on many games and any Quest 3 exclusives. The color mixed reality passthrough is amazing compared to the grainy black and white passthrough of the Quest 2. Highly recommend.

I loved my Meta Quest 3. There are some really good games and some really bad ones, but I didn't buy it to play games; I bought it to exercise, and it's incredibly good for that. There are several apps for exercising, but I'm using one called Supernatural. At first, I thought it was just a game, but as the days go by, I feel the exercise in my body. It's really helping me improve my fitness; it's becoming addictive. The best VR headset I've ever tried, value for money. I've had both the PlayStation and Apple VR headsets. I don't know why the PlayStation ones make me dizzy and nauseous. The Apple ones are good. I can't say otherwise, but they're not worth the price. I don't experience any dizziness or discomfort with the Meta Quest 3 headset, even after extended periods of use of two or more hours. You need to purchase an additional battery; they're much more comfortable to wear and adjust, and the battery lasts twice as long.

Worth the upgrade for extra storage alone. With more space, I don’t worry about deleting games or experiences. Same excellent performance and visuals as the 128GB version. Great for sharing with others or keeping a big VR library.

The Meta Quest is a great VR exerience. - With having access to a library of free games and many favorites like Beat Saber, Meta has a amount of fun to be had in whatever way you want to play. With its wireless accessibility it is convenient to use and store. - unlike the PS5 VR (which I own) it is not tethered to a wire. This means you have to be mindful where you play, but it also means that you can have an immersive experience. The wire, though not a horrible feature, can be a bother. The head latching could be more secure, but with the ability to buy other options, I am sure that anyone can find a way for it to suit their needs. - My daughter found herself having to adjust it reguraly as she played to make sure it did not slide down. I did not have this issues, but I am sure younger ones may have a similar issue. As mentioned prior, you can purchase an alternate band to suit your needs. Overall, I am happy with the perchase. It is a hit in the wallet, but its a very fun and worth the time if you have the extra change.

Absolutely love my Quest 3. Clearer picture than the Quest 2 and easily adjustable PD. The augmented reality games are very fun as well! Definitely a very good choice for a budget VR headset and can also be used to play PCVR using a cable designed for that much data transfer.

Definitely bump up from the Quest 2! I recommend the 512GB version over the 128GB version. Or maybe just wait for the supposed upcoming Quest3 Lite (or cheaper model), and get a 256GB version of that. Be warned that the quest 3 burns through battery life noticeably quicker than Quest 2. About 1hr 30min, maybe 1hr 45min. I wear a sports belt back that holds phones when running (ahem - a 'fanny back'? lol) - and I have a $20 external lithium battery in there, with cable going up my shirt to the headset. That gets me another 1.5hrs of playtime!

Had a quest 1 and wanted to try some new games, upgraded to the quest 3. Much faster, better graphics, and lighter. Only downside are the controls feel more slick and smooth making them more likely to slide out of your hand compared to the first gen controllers.
