I am 79 years old so when my children talked into trying it, I was so surprised by the programs. I had to get it especially for fun exercising and playing.

You really can't explain to others what it's like to be immersed in the game as though you were a part of it. You get a workout having fun!

So, where to begin???Graphically the improvement is night and day, even the non optimized games look better on the Quest 3 than they do the Quest 2. I had my 3090 rig burn up, but, playing Half Life Alyx on a 3060 laptop with a Ryzen 9 6900 looks better on the Q3 than it did on the Quest 2 with a 3090 and an intel 12900KF doing the legwork. Sadly I cannot recommend it though as I am going to be returning this one for a second time and will not be getting another one yet. I have had repetitive tracking issues and the remotes seem janky. The first hearset the left thumbstick was loose, like it didn't seat all the way, but only the left one, my replacement has both like that and even worse tracking issues. It coule just be software, but I'm not going to risk it, especially since I still have my Quest 2 and it works like a champ.

I've been waiting for the right time to upgrade. This is definitely the time. The image quality is excellent. The Augmented Reality makes a huge difference. The link with the computer needs to be get better/ easier. The games are great. I like the Exercise apps. My son likes Gorilla Tag. Perfect price point. Getting more than your money worth.

Both devices are catered to different customer base. Vision Pro is for Apple iOS exp, this one is for kids and gaming. Occasional life space which needs to be improved to bring it up to par with Apple.
