Beware Occulus Products

Occulus products are bad, period. Let me list the issues.
1) The content jitters. I use this for Supernatural and every minute or two, the screen jumps a few pixels and then goes back into place. It's distracting and shouldn't happen with any headset.
2) The headstrap is just plain awful. It hurt my head after wearing it for just an hour. I had to buy an off-brand one and it was 1000 times more comfortable. The material used for the controller straps isn't great either. It's cheap.
3) The biggest one - Meta won't stand by it's product if it breaks just outside the warranty period. They give you a year and if it breaks just after, they only offer a refurbished one that will cost you money. I woke up one day to a bricked device. I did nothing to cause this when the software can't get past the Meta splash screen. That's an internal problem. But nope, Meta doesn't have the integrity to stand behind its product. Be prepared to shell out more money for an extended warranty.
I get it, there's not much competition, but be warned if you're going to buy and rely on this product....

It is important to us at Meta Store Support, that you are able to enjoy your headset to its fullest, and wanted to help with some of the points that you've mentioned.
1, If you are still having a jumpy experience with the Quest headset, or having display issues, then you can try the following 1.1, Clear your boundary history, rather then redrawing the boundary. Go into the Settings > Environment setup (or Physical Space) > Boundary and select the option to "Clear boundary history" 1.2, Toggle Headset tracking off / on. Settings > Movement Tracking > Headset Tracking. 1.3, Ensure that the environment your in isn't too well lit, or dim, and that no large reflective surfaces are in view of the headset.
2, This is completely understandable, as everybody has a different level of comfort. Some can't stand the cross-strap of the headset, preferring the weight to be disrupted at the back, or the sides with alternative headset straps, and arrangements. We offer a range of facial interfaces, and a head strap alternative for those that don't like the standard setup on our Meta Quest Store.
3, It is regrettable to hear that your experience with our support team has caused you any further problems. Even if the device is no longer covered by the standard warranty, we still aim to provide the best possible support and troubleshooting that we can for the issue regardless.

Much needed upgrade

This is the upgrade to my existing Quest. It is more comfortable to wear. It features better hardware for working with the latest VR applications and games. It is fun and exciting.

Well worth the price for games and just chilling in a virtual world. A far step from 2. Could use more memory but for the price.
Only taking 1 star away because all the trouble I had with Best Buy and staff not knowing anything causing me several instances of trouble on the phone and running to stores.

I don’t know a lot about these but my son has been bugging for a lot time that he wanted these exact ones. After doing a lot of research on car headsets we found that meta you get more bang for your buck
