Absolutely cinema! However, collectors wasnt worth it. Snakes face looked very very poorly painted. The game was much better than i thought it would be! The collectors isnt worth the hype but the game was! Reliving my childhood with this one!

I ordered this in advance because I had high expectations given the pictures that started to circulate on the internet. I have to say that I'm more than disappointed, this is the worst collectors edition I've seen in my entire life. It's super cheap, the terrarium is awful, the vegetation inside it feels like a cheap fish tank and Snake's face with crossed eyes seems like he has received a kick in his lower parts. You have to be very bold or don't care about your customers at all to sell this product at this price. I'm not blaming Best Buy, I'm blaming Konami because along the lines of their production chain there has been someone who approved releasing something this bad. The game itself is the same game with better graphics and it's the best of this package. It's basically "don't fix what is not broken" + better graphics. Just but the normal edition and don't even bother about collectors if you are not a die hard collector.

I got extremely lucky randomly got online one became available secured it bought it no scalpers take advantage have played it through and through it was an oldie from 2004. Have since played it beaten it enjoyed all the dialogue the remastered scenes the Close Quarters combat in game cinematics with the boss and finally after 21 years achieved the Foxhound title!!!!

So thankful I was able to get a copy of this game. Best Buy always comes through for me when I need great games like this. I need to mention game was sold out but I kept looking every day up until release date and became available day of release. Thanks again for the chance and opportunity Best Buy!

Ive been a Metal gear fan since the original release of the ps1 version. I was so excited being able to preorder the collectors edition of this game. Upon arrival the box it was packaged in was fine. I opened it delicately and immediately noticed the top of the metal gear collectors box torn. Very disappointed with this.

Everything is okay except the main figure terrain thingy… could’ve had more… work in it but I guess if you are a MGS fan you should get it?? Hmmm now I’m not sure

I was sent a $5 tape measurer- so either BB shipped the wrong thing or the UPS driver STOLE what I ordered and through a cheap tape measurer inside. If BB doesn't refund me, I will be contacting my bank and UPS to file a claim & also contacting the BBB. This is ridiculous. DO NOT BUY

Don’t let my rating deter you from purchasing this game. It is an absolutely fantastic remake of an amazing game. My low rating is attributed to Best Buy’s poor handling of my collector’s edition. I picked it up at the store and the box was torn and beaten up. They basically threw a shipping label on the collectors edition box and shipped it to the store. They didn’t bother packing it correctly. I paid over $200 and they trampled it. Because of their care, I will never order another collectors edition from Best Buy. If you’re going to get the game, either buy the standard or digital version instead.

My first problem was with the shipping section of best buy because they shipped my collectors box straight up naked without properly packaging it for its protection of it’s quality, so therefor was received by me damaged and roughed up already. Terrible quality work when it came to their shipping of orders. I would never again order a collectors item for shipping from best ever again. Then more dissatisfaction when i saw how poor quality the actual collectors statue is fir fhus American version of the game. The asian version of the collectors edition is easily 100x better and more legitimate than this poor excuse of a collectors

This was probably the most underwhelming collectors edition. The figure that was given didnt even look like snake. Anyways i didnt like it and the 200 dollar price tag didnt make it worth it.

This is the worst collectors edition I have ever seen. For $200 you’d expect the diorama to be decent and use good quality materials but no, the vegetation included is like football turf or something you’d find at a pet store and oh good lord snake… how did they even dare sell this?? I dont even know how to make this thing look good, I just gave up and threw all vegetation around in which it can’t even stand up straight Oh and somehow my steelbook came scratched up.

Awesome collectors edition. Great game very nostalgic playing it again

For a price tag of 200USD and you get a poorly made action figure.

The game is fantastic. It's a faithful 1:1 recreation of the original with no changes. The collectibles are trash. The display is cheap and the figure of Snake has all the details of a melted crayon. Even the steelbook isn't worth having. What should have been? The easiest thing to get right was done wrong. Its height is so much taller in a typical case that it won't fit on my shelf. It's th height of an old PS2 game case. Zero effort was put into the design of this edition. Do not buy this.

An accurate recreation of the original release, some minor flaws in gameplay and performance issues upon release but hopefully future patches will address this issue. The collectors edition figurine however has faced scrutiny and is a bit underwhelming for the proce point of this game. All in all for those who enjoy nostalgia its an easy buy whether it be the standard or premium editions.

I bought this for my 16 y/o son. He is a big fan of MGS Snake Eater. His only complaint was that he found out about the European version, which included a vinyl of the soundtrack and a bust of Snake Eater. He would have preferred that over the terrarium. He has very much enjoyed the game play and the graphics.
