Well let see where to start this game is amazing. Gameplay is awsome, storyline is crazy leaves you on the edge of your seat the whole time your playing. Grapics and texture and a sight to see. A game that any Metal Gear fan should have. If you are not coaught up on the saga it makes a whole lot more since if you have played the previous games.

overall a great game! Although, if you don't like long cut scenes, then you probably will not like this game. Graphics are great, tons of weapon choices, good story line, but multiplayer isn't quite as good as call of duty 4 (but by no means is it bad)... All in all, I would strongly recommend this game!

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots ties in every single Metal Gear Solid game made. All the stuff that seemed confusing will make sense now if you've played all the games. You kind of have to to make any sense of the game. The third game is kind of where it all begins and that ties into the first and second game. In this part of the series, Snake has to terminate his brother who has possessed the former Ocelot. You travel around the world trying to stop him from controlling everyone who has Nanomachines in their bodies. All the Characters in every single game in the Franchise is used, except for the ones that...well...died. The ones that did die however are mentioned in some videos. By the way, Cut Scenes in the game sometimes last up to an hour long, but trust me, they are worth it. Every Cut Scene is loaded with stunning visuals and amazing action sequences. There was nothing wrong with this game, but I suggest (If you haven't already) you play all the other Metal Gear Solid games before you play this. You won't be able to understand the story if this is your first time playing the games.

here is the power of the ps3 in all it's glory. the concept of the game the graphics, the sound, playability and entertainment make this the must own game for the ps3. METAL GEAR SOLID 4 is a masterpiece.

This is a great game to end a great series. Solid Snake is one of the coolest and most iconic characters in video game history. This game raps up a lot of story lines that the first three started. There were still a few lingering questions but that is what makes the story great. It makes you feel like there could be another one. There still is stealth in this game but it is not the only way to beat the game. You could go in and do all of the things that you wanted to do with Snake from the beginning like shooting everything up. You also see some returning characters and some you would never think you would see again. Check this game out if you are a fan of Metal Gear. If not check it out and then go out and play the old games too. This is a game every video game fanboy should play.

Great game!!! I have been fascinated withe the story line since the past games, it is a great follow up to the the sequel. graphics are really good, makes you feel like you are there. I strongly recommend you go and get it.

It's been a while since playing the older MSG games and after seeing the reviews, I took bought the same expecting it to be good. It turned out to be great. For $9.99, it was the best game I ever bought and the most fun I ever enjoy playing the game. The 5 difficulty levels was great. The cut scenes were long but engaging and I kept watching to find out the whole story. The graphic was awesome and the transition between game play and cutscene was flawless. The replay value was also great. After beating the game, I played the next level and wasn't bored at all. The option to play all out shooting or tactic was great and added to the challenged. If you are into action adventure, this game is for you. You won't be disappointed.

This game is probably the best game series I've ever played or heard of. I'm not even a gamer really, but I know that this game has the hottest controls, gameplay, and overall fun than a lot of games that are out. Great game even if u don't know about Metal Gear!!

I've been playing video games since about '94 and this is easily one of my favorite games of all time, if not the favorite. The inclusion of Octocamo creates a game play experience that has never been seen before. The story is the completion of solid snakes adventures, which began on the MSX2 in 87. You can feel how big and long coming the game is while playing. The online component is basically a stand alone game. A DLC package was released on July 17th, making Metal Gear Online even more appealing. The teamwork that can be used in this game is unlike anything ever experienced. Linking up with other players through the SOP system is very fun and the skills that you player can increase through the game individualizes each player. If you're a fun of good stories (maybe confusing for some), replayability, new features never before seen, and a great online component then this game is for you.

first off i got this game on the day it came out. i have been a fan of the MGS series for a while, and it is the best one in the series. the game has nice solid gameplay, plenty of weapon options, and some good cutscines or "videos". the graphics are some of the best i have seen. gameplay is nice and smooth, only thing is you need to download each act but it only takes 2 minutes. i have played through the game more than 4 times and it has not gotten old yet. there are alot of aords that you can unlock. beat the game on hard or higher with no kills deaths, 3 or less alerts and you get a special gun. so overall it is a good game, best graphics i have seen. if you like action games go buy it now!

This is a great game for all the old fans of snake, amazing graphics..cool storline. I just dont think its that hard and for that matter that fun for hours. I look for a game i can play endlessly or at least close to it as possible and this game does not have it..but if your looking for a good time and amazing graphics...holla!!!

Great Scott, Batman! This game is awesome. Sound and graphics are probably the best for a PS3 game to date. A definite buy for PS3 owners. Oh, and VERIBULL is obviously a fanboy.

I recently bought this game and once i started playing i couldn't stop. You can play it over and over again on any difficulty. The storyline was amazing, so were the graphics.

MGS4 has stunning visuals, awesome story line, and really good online. This game is so worth getting, not getting it is missing out on one of the best games of all time.

THis is the best game of the solid snake series by far. The action is intense with great controls to follow up. The graphic are some of the best I've seen on the playstation 3. Even with long cut sceans it's no problem because they're actually exiting and fun to watch!!!! The only real prolem with the games is the instalation between the 5 acts. But overall it's one of the best games I've ever played. When playing the game , the action was fun and the story was interesting. The different weapons you can use can be costamized. Really good game .Happy with it

This game is well worth the wait it took to be released. The gameplay, action, storyline, and customization possibilities make this one of the greatest video games of all time. The graphics are truly remarkable. If you own a PS3, you have to have this game, it is pretty simple. The game's only flaw is in it online multiplayer. The customization options exist here (similar to story mode), but the gameplay itself flawed. Konami is working to improve the online elements, but let's be honest this game is all about the story mode. You will not be disapointed. Awesome final chapter in the series

i was not happy with this one. i am a metal gear fan but this one was not what i expected. the graphics are good and the story is ok. the problem is that i beat it in 16 hours in hard mode!! there are so many long and drawn out cut sceens that it just made it stupid. one cut sceen was so long i made dinner and it was still going on when i got done. i like game play to go on for days such as resident evil and call of duty 4. which by the way blows this game out of the water. out of the 16 hours i think 40% was cut sceens and drama. The best part of the game was vamp!!! if you like movie and cut sceens go for it but i would not spend $60 on it.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is an absolute masterpiece. To call it anything less than epic would be ludicrous. Never before has a game grabbed me by the collar and pulled me into its universe with such force. From the absolutely gorgeous graphics to the dynamic and original gameplay, Metal Gear Solid 4 stands out as an outstanding and ingenious piece of art. No game has ever left such a great impression on me to where words just cannot describe. If you own a PS3, do yourself a huge favor and buy this game. You will not regret it.
