This game will blow you away as soon as you start the first mission. It is easily the best of the series and I haven't even beaten it yet! This game will make almost anyone buy a PS3 if they don't already have one or REALLY appreciate their PS3 if they didn't already. It's so unbelievably great you MUST see for yourself!

This game is awesome!!! it explains any unanswered questions about any of the other metal gear games, some of the best CGI i've ever seen! great story line, i love this game!!! of course there are some people that have never played any of the metal gear games that wont understand it, but i recommened playing first 3 then this one in orders 3,1,2,4 BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!

I felt like I was playing a movie and was completely drawn into the story from start to finish. The game is so responsive and there are small ways the sixaxis capabilites were integrated into this game. I love all the Metal Gear Solids. This one was quit a challenge for me however. The enemies seemed ten times harder than I remember. The graphics were incredible. I love how you could be sneaky by blending into the color of the ground, grass, or pretty much anything. Although sometimes I believe the game was a bit glitchy.. even though you were hiding pretty well.. the enemies always seemed to walk over and find you. Great game but I wouldn't recommend it to someone if they get frustrated easily.

This game has it all! I never played MGS 1,2 or 3 and i still love this game. The gameplay is unbeatable and the graphics are better than any other system's. I have beaten it 3 times because it is so fun. Metal Gear Online is a great online experience with lots of maps and interesting game modes! This game has great value and will be in your system for months.

I have to preface this by saying i have been a MGS fan since the beginning, but i must say i just was not in to this game. The new controls were awesome, but their was so much to control that it just got confusing... The story just never got be going. was never pulled in to it like i was with the others. Perhaps im just getting older, but who knows... Other than that its still an excellent game, and a great buy for experienced gamers. Fortunately i got this game for free with the 80gb bundle package.

I was never really into the Metal Gear games but this one has taken me by storm. The graphics are fantastic and well everything thus far is fantastic. So unless the game suddenly goes horrible or blows up my ps3 it gets five stars. The AI is pretty good and I guess that at higher difficulties their reaction time would improve but its still pretty good.

ive loved the metal gear series since i first played it on ps1....this was my most anticipated game for ps3 even more so than gta4....it was well worth the wait...the story like usual is cinematic with a masterful story line along with suspenseful music...but my favorite(to my surprise) is the online...i love it best online game ive played

I'll start off by fully admitting that I am a biased reviewer. I have awaited this release with an unprecedented school-boy eagerness, unlike any other game in my life. That aside, from the cliff-hanger title screen alone, I was hooked. If you are unfamiliar with the Metal Gear series, and I truly pity you, the franchise is known for its compelling storyline and intricate plot twists that all center around our protagonist, Solid Snake. Guns of the Patriots is no exception. It is no exaggeration when I say that this is, in my opinion, the best game of the series. It delivers the absolute best story I have ever witnessed in a video game. And, for the first time in my gaming experience, I got to enjoy the first TRUE seamless integration of cutscene to gameplay transitions. If you ARE familiar with the previous titles, I should tell you that essentially all of the annoyances from the gameplay have been brilliantly polished. The gameplay is incredibly smooth and natural. The only qualm I have is that Codec conversations, which were a huge staple in all of the past games, have essentially gone by the wayside. In conclusion, simply put, best game of all time.

This game is definitly one of the best games out to date. I've been a huge fan since MGS 1 when a friend of mine showed me it when I was 9 years old. Now I'm 19 years old and Still loving every second that I play MGS. This game is easy to get into, and the story is made so that people who never played MGS1, 2, or 3 know what's going on. Even though playing the original 3 still help with the little things, like who Akiba/Johny is :) My brother, who isn't a big fan of MGS, thought that "Man this is a boring game." Because of a cut scene that happens between Snake and Naomi. That is probably the only part of the game that I thought was boring, the rest of it was entertaining and action packed. I'm glad that Kojima used Raiden as a cool character, since a lot of people didn't think to highley of him as being the Protaganist in MGS 2. In end terms, this is ,IMO, the Best game out for PS3 and probably any other system. If you like MGS you'll love this game, if you've never played MGS you'll be hard pressed to not be impressed with it. I'm just a little sad that it's the last game in the series.

Whether or not you are a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, this is an excellent game to purchase. For new players, it is easy to learn and follow, and for experienced pros it completes the MGS circle of games. Everything about this game is tight. It's no wonder it gets a great rating everywhere you look.

I'm new to the metal gear solid series because i hadn't really given much thought to it. When i heard about this game it sounded so good that i had to give it a try. I was not disappointed. It has so many customizable options for your weapons that it is hard to choose what to purchase. The cut scenes are a little lengthy but you don't want to miss them. Would have given it 4.5 stars if possible.

This game is nothing compared to Call of Duty, call of Duty just blows this game away. This is a game about stealth. The game would also be way better if it had free online play, but you have to pay for it. You will be addicted to this game in the misssion mode wich will last around a week. But then after the mission mode is done then the game will get thrown to the side and probably never played again.

This game is a cool game.Its gameplay is smooth and gets you thrilled.i've never played mgs but by playing this game made me buy the whole series!It has a load of unlockables and features such as playboy mags,tranquilizers,invisible suit(stealth),awesome guns,and much more.This is a good game and Ill recommend it to anyone.Also,the online is great!

if you have followed this seris get the game no matter what but if you r new to it...it will take a while to soak in the awsomeness of this game it is just amazing get it if you love being stealt like or just like to go in guns blazing no matter this game is the bomb

I had a chance to play the Metal Gear Online Beta, and I loved it. Finally nice to get some MG online in the consoles. The Metal Gear Solid saga has been the greatest video game series of our time, from story to gameplay. Judging by the hype and initial reviews it looks to be game of the year. If you have a PS3 the game is a must buy.

Never played any of the previous metal gear solid games but this game is awesome! Graphics are AMAZING and fun addicting game. Online is kinda different from other online shooters and hard for me to get use to but still pretty fun even tho my k/d ratio SUCKS!!

Waited a while for the release for MGS the final chater in the MGS franchise, hopefully not. Great game graphics look unbelievable with 1080p with an hdmi cable. Takes a lot of patience to get through the game but well worth it. Solid snake for the win.

This is my favorite game. I have played all of the metal gear solid games, and while many people complain about the cut scenes, it is where most of the story happens. And the story is what this game is all about. And leading to the end of this story is the best boss fight I have ever experienced.

Hideo Kojima's final installment for the Metal Gear series is a masterpiece. The game contains some of the best graphics I have ever been seen on a home console. It’s impressive to see the innovative camo suit blend in to any surrounding that Snake leans against. The soundtrack adds to the intensity of sneaking around and battles you encounter. My only complaint about this game is the length of the cutscenes in between playing time. One cutscene was so long I was able to prepare a sandwich and eat it before I was able to start playing again. On the positive side the cutscenes are important to answer all of those unanswered questions that have haunted the Metal Gear series. Over all I think this is the best Metal Gear of the entire series and highly recommend for everyone to play this game and be a part of one of the best game series in video game history.
