this is a great new addition to the ps3 library a definite must have for any ps3 owner or mgs fan great graphics gameplay n great use of the rumble controller if you must buy 1 gm this is it

So yeah, I've been a fan of MGS for a few years now and I have to say, this is one of the better games, but then again 3/4 of games are awesome. Loved the weapon customizations, the boss battles, and especially the story. Cinematics occured too often and were a bit long for my tastes, though I have to say it was all good stuff.

This is the reason why I got a PS3. To play amazing games like MGS4. This game shows you how powerful the PS3 is. This is by far the best game I played on my PS3. If you havent got this game yet, well then go and get it NOW!! This game is great I beat it twice. Thats how much I loved it.

Game is great. Worth the $30.00 by far. Must own. Expect too many long movies. The game play should have been longer. 60% gameplay. 40% movies. Expect an unexpected twist in the game. Awsome regardless. I expect and MG5

This game was amazing! Best of the whole series. The graphics were amazing, game play fantastic, and replayability factor is huge. I recommend you play mgs1, 2, and 3 before this one. It makes it a million times better.

MGS4 is in one word, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!. This is what the PS3 was built for. I wont give the game away for those of you who haven't purchased it yet, but this should be hands down, the game of the year.

The final game starring Solid Snake, and in my opinion, it is the finest game made to date. It features a new control system which improves CQC as well as shooting. Some of our favorite devices make a big comeback, but our favorite weapons, such as the PSG-1 are sadly absent. Speaking of weaponry, there are officially 70 weapons to be found in this game, many of which are customizable and endlessly adaptable. There is also a major surprise involving the game's titular weapon. Many characters make a triumphant comeback as well. I wish there was more I could tell you without ruining the story! One thing I advise; play all of the metal gear solids beforehand. It makes for a richer gaming experience.

i have never played a metal gear solid game and i wanted to experience it. i picked this one up on a buy 2 get one free deal. this was my free one. glad i got it. the demo was decent and it pulled me in. i am pleased. great graphics, gameplay and story. i can't play fast paced shooter games because they toy with my head. this is more of a behind the scenes type game so its slow enough for me to be playable. plus i am not great at shooter games so this gives me a bit of a challenge as well. I wish it had trophies though. sometimes i feel like i am watching a movies because some of the cinematics are so long. oh well, part of the game that you don't really want to miss.

Overall, it's a good game. Sharp graphics, powerful guns, and overall good quality. But I thought there were too many cut scenes. Story was forgettable compared to snake eater, but this will do for now. Can't wait for the next one.

This game is by far one of my favorites. I never played any of the other Gear games and I was still amazed. The graphics on HD are amazing and flawless.. Get this game... It is awesome...

MGS4 is by far the best game on the PS3 to date. If it doesn't win game of the year then we should all be very happy because that means something amazing has happened on the games front.

This game is raw. It is a must have for the ps3 owners. The graphics are amazing and the controlls are great and the story line in the bomb diggity. I would buy this game if I were you

If your one of the people who haven't bought this game already then what are you waiting for! The game follows old snake and his revenge towards Liquid. The game is the most amazing one in the franchise and delivers everything that it promised. The rumors about the long cut scenes and installs are true, BUT cut scenes can be skipped and installs are only 2 or 3 minutes long so i it isn't a huge problem. If your new to the game then you can catch up with the database available now on PSN for free. The game does come with Metal Gear Online which is great, and if you have played the beta the game has been improved. This is a MUST buy if you have the PS3.

It's Metal Gear Solid 4 people! The graphics are amazing, there is so much more to do and its just over all a wonderful series!! It's a classic, and you don't have to rent or read these to know you will enjoy the game, I know I will :3!!

I've been a fan of metal gear for years and to witness such a game with such an ending is great. The game speaks for itself, it's a must play and a game you such never trade.

Any fan of the metal gear solid series will love this game. The gameplay has changed a bit and it allows the player to customize their gaming experience. Each scenario can be approached different ways which makes replay a lot of fun. The cinematics can get a bit long, but that has been the case with all of the mgs games.

I’ve always grown up with the notion that a 10/10 means a game is perfect and that no improvements can be made upon the genera. But MGS4 has changed my perception of this, and anything less than a 10 seems like a travesty in my opinion. While MGS4 is not perfect, I can’t honestly say I’ve ever been more emotionally connected to a video game before. MGS4 is an experience that lives up to its incredible high expectations and shatters the glass ceiling that hung over the stealth action genera. MGS4 is a once in a generation experience. Anyone that really enjoys video games should get IT!! Game of the year!!!
