This enclosed sub box has stood the teat of twomping out on the daily @ full peak for my alpine 12” S series. I bought it for my tahoe blazer nit ended up using it on the daily in my Malibu. Not the best but certainly get your money’s worth out of it. Plus it hasn’t started to break open like some boxes do the phelt is still in tact and still stuck on, the inside glue last I checked is doing hell of alot more than expected to do. A great buy if you want enclosed. I pushes 600RMS through and was always given me that deep hallow bass, the way my set up was. The only thing I would have to gripe about is the terminal is a cheaper one and it’s plastic push kind.

Not bad for being mdf. If you're just looking for beginner grade sub enclosure this works great. If you're looking for bass that will shake your neighbors house then you might want to look for a custom box without terminal cups. The cups can't really handle big boy subs due to the thin wire it has. If you go with this box replace the wire it comes with for a thicker 12 gauge. The terminal cups can use 12 gauge no problem but if you plan to wire 2 subs in different enclosures you will need to use some kind of connectors to fit in the terminal cups. I used a female connector and I put 2 wires on the female side and used the other end to go in the terminal cup hole. It works good like that if using 12 gauge

This wa perfect for my 79 Firebird trunk. The kicker Comp R 10” Sub sounds great!

Fine for both vehicles, not as thick as advertised. But not a deal breaker for plane jane kicker 10 comp C in the PT cruiser, and comp CVR in a grand cherokee.

Put this in my commuter hoopty 2002 Mazda Protege. Bought this box on sale at Xmas. It came paired with a 10” Kicker CompR. Look at the MFG specs for the woofer the box slightly undersized, so I used some poly fill inside the box. I powered it with the Alpine MRV-M500 500wRMS mono amp. Ran the amp and woofer at 2 ohms. Installed it myself. Everything is perfect together. Sounds great. More bass than I needed.

Overall great quality. Anyone who has been in the car audio industry knows Metra makes good stuff. This box is no exception. The only part of it that I personally didn't care for was the small gauge wire that was preinstalled between the connector and the speaker. I created a new one with larger gauge wire and soldered the connections in place. With that done and the sub installed, this little box puts out big sound! It tucks perfectly behind the back seat in the trunk of my car.

I initially had a 12" Kicker CompR and replaced it with a 12" Kicker CompVX and this box works perfect. Good buy.

Since Best Buy didn't put the Cubic Ft of this box I'm giving this item 3 stars. We need to know how big the box is, some subwoofers can't use this small of a box. Please put the cubic feet of the box on all the subwoofer boxes web pages. This box is 0.75 cubic feet of air space. The box is great quality.

You can’t beat this box for $15.99. I put a CT sounds Tropo 10 in it along with a bag of polyfil. Sounds way better than I expected. Only downfall may be how long it holds together. But again for the price if it lasts a couple months I’ll be happy.

Great little box. Its a lot smaller then my ported one that it replaced and made a lot more space in my truck. Makes a crisp bass note. Only complaint is that it's 5/8 mdf not 3/4 like advertised

my dad didnt have time to make the box for me,so i bought this hoping that it was of good quality.its well made,easy to connect the wires,i did purchase some filling,not a big deal.had my 10 inch kicker in and connections made in just a few minutes,double check all the connections and it was shaking the windows in the house,25 feet away. GREAT

This box is inexpensive and installation was easy. The subwoofer sounds very great.

durable and solid, at a reasonable price. added this to one of the kicker amp/sub packages to add some reasonably priced thump in her trunk. sitting at a little over a year and a half, and it's as solid as it was when new. one thought is there's a bit of a glue smell. may want to leave it in the garage for a few days when new to bake the smell out.

Purchased this to hold my Kicker subwoofer last summer. It does a great of putting out the right thump for what I like. I did end up putting some Velcro along the bottom to keep it from moving a lot in my trunk. Perfect price as well. I have already recommended this to several people at work.
