Well again this wouldn't work with my 2009 Ford F150 XL, Best Buy computer said it was the right one. it was $20.......So I had to spend $80.00 for the right one. But AGAIN.....Delayed the install of my radio/DVD.

I recently used this harness to install a new head unit in my 2008 Taurus Limited. I was very skeptical that this was in fact the harness I needed, having read that the Audiophile sound system needed a different model. To clear up any confusion: this harness DOES work with the Audiophile package, although you will want to read up what wires you will need to use for your particular application (mine required some guesswork). Also, most aftermarket head units output a (don't quote me on the exact numbers) 12 volt signal to turn the amp on, and your factory amp uses a 5 volt signal, which results in a (fairly loud) pop/thud each time your unit powers up, but this is not the harness' fault, and can easily be fixed with a $5 resistor from your local RadioShack

Apparently, since my radio is working and not having problems... it works!
