Make sure you have the right harness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Online on the brands website it said that this harness would work in the 2006 Chevy Silverado and it does not. After talking to another radio shop I found out that no aftermarket harness will allow you to have dim control on an aftermarket stereo. The expensive $90-100 dollar harness only allows you to have door chimes and factory chimes come through the stereo. So not worth it in my opinion. So make sure you research what harness to buy for this year of truck. You will also need the antenna adapter as well.

Plugs for audio

It took a bit to wire up but after was a great result. The plug for right in the new radio. The wire quality looks like it will last a very long time.

Say it Ain't So

However, don't purchase off the shelf based on year. I failed to check my connections despite having a car that fit the year/make/model. Also, the build construction was cheap. It wasn't until I refer the wires coming from the harness that I realized it wouldn't work on my vehicle.
