Bought in store instead of online because I wasn't 100% sure it would work with my 03 Explorer. Confirmed with one of the best buy employees and indeed it works perfectly. Save yourself time and frustration installing an aftermarket radio and buy a harness so you can always revert to stock instead of cutting or splicing the factory wires and guessing what colors go to what.

For a DIYer or anybody with experiance these connectors will save you a major headache when doing your install. I did a touchscreen install in a 2000 f250, 10 minutes to install the head unit the rest spent running the wiring for the amps and cameras and subs. A Best Buy for easy installs.

Easy to use and color coding makes it simple to wire in.

The harness works great. Personally, I would have bought a different radio looking back, BUT, back to the topic. There was a little confusion with which one I needed, so I would recommend to anyone picking this up to take a picture with your phone or camera of YOUR vehicle's wiring on the radio and compare it to what you are buying. There is no dimmer available on most aftermarket radios, so I wouldn't blame the harness for that either (my radio face is too bright at night...). Also, make sure you have a good connection between wire ends when you install the radio. Ford trucks with double din radios don't quite fit normal double din aftermarket radios, Ford's is smaller, plastic removal required. Good luck out there.

There are a lot of wires but if you can read the drawing that comes with the radio and the one that comes with this it is as easy as matching color to color. It is a bit tedious to solder and tape but it takes less then 15 minutes to wire up.

I bought the harness to install the JVC kw-v21bt dvd player in my 04 f250. The harness worked perfect all the colors were right. Was done soldering it to the harness in just a few minutes.

This made for very easy installation. Very affordable!

I was a bit nervous wiring my stereo into my truck as I've never done this before. I just matched the color wires and boom, it worked! It was a breeze!

Used this on a 2011 Ford Ranger and the plugs were a perfect match, however you still have to connect the color coded wires together and they proved no guidance on it. I am an electronics technician and it was easy for me but not everybody has the same level of expertise.

The piece was easy to locate in the store and it was easy to assemble into the car with instructions.

Was very simple to use and adapt my new Kenwood DNX571. Went in clean!
