    Box said honda with a year range. Don't trust it talk to and installer and have them find the right one.

    Buyer beware - this harness doesn't work for the '98 Civic. Apparently Civics didn't incorporate the new style harness until '99. Had to exchange this harness for the correct one ('86-'97 Honda). Once I had the right harness, installation was a snap!

    salesperson sold wrong part for car application, even though package stated correct application. check car manufacture plug design for proper fitment first but you won't know until removal of original unit.
