    My favorite keyboard.

I find I get used to keyboards and once used to one it is hard to change to another. This is actually my third Microsoft Arc keyboard. I originally selected this keyboard because it has no number key pad on the right. I've never developed the habit of using a number key pad, and find with one on the right of the keyboard the reach from the keyboard to the mouse is too far. My first Arc transceiver died. They are a matched pair so I had to buy a second keyboard. I spilled water on the second but after it dried the "S" key wouldn't work. Hence this purchase. All of this was spread over about 4 to 5 years. I like the arc of this keyboard. The keys feel good to me, and they have good travel. The keyboard is quiet. There is a single key on the lower right for cursor control. That took some getting used to but now it is second nature to me. I wish it was back-lit but that's a bit much to ask for a battery powered keyboard. The batteries last forever and I never turn it off. The price was so low on Best Buy I actually bought two Arc keyboards this time, one to stick in the closet in case this new one (that I'm typing on right now) somehow fails.

Purchased this unit to replace my full size Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. The footprint of the this keyboard is outstanding; doesn't take up much space and comfortable off desk. The keyboard touch is great, solid and responsive combined with its ergonomic design makes it a joy to use. The only drawback is it not being compatible with the old transceiver which is still needed to allow the mouse to function. Microsoft should have designed it for both use of a new dongle ( Laptop) or use with an existing desktop configuration...integrating the existing hardware. Not a big deal but one less part to deal with. I will probably upgrade to the Arc Mouse in the near future.

Nice small keyboard for small spaces and for someone that does not need the extra keys. I would buy again, was not disappointed overall.

I saw this keyboard and bought it with the Arc Mouse. Both their designs were lovely and the price was decent. BUT the biggest issue with this keyboard was that if I wanted to use both mouse and keyboad, I would have to plug in two USB nano receivers. Unlike Logitech Unifying Receivers, they are able to connect to multiple devices with one receiver. Aside from that, the keyboard was great and I love the feel and look of it. Definitely would buy again if receiver issue was fixed.

This is an excellent keyboard for my purposes as I needed more desk space. It's compact, but not so much that it is difficult to type. It also has a very solid feel to it. I like it very much.

Handicapped daughter likes it except it has no indicator when the batteries need to be replaced. Only had it 2 weeks and had to replace the batteries. Would like to know if there is a special key combo to turn it on when the computer goes to sleep and you need to have the keyboard come back to life. Restarting computer helps at times. Poor instructions and no manual even on line that does any good.

My wife and I lug around a laptop when we travel. It is heavy and battery life is undesireable. Recently I purchased 2 ten inch tablets at a great price. We love them. But, being touch typists, we despise the virtual keyboards for composing messages and the like. I decided that wireless keyboards, small enough to pack along with our tablets were a solution. Laptop keyboards notoriously suck and thin wireless keyboards designed to acompany tablets are even worse. I saw this one and noticed the arc. Thus shortening the length of the keyboard to an acceptable size, yet retaining the proper spacing between the keys. Decent tactile reception for the keys makes this board a winner as well. This is in no way a full size keyboard with numeric keypad and other additional keys a Logitech wireless full size kb has. Nor does it cut corners. And it is packable. It comes with a thin, yet durable pouch to protect it from dust/debris when stored. It will fit nicely into our carry-on bags. And even in my backpack designed to carry laptops. It is battery powered and comes with an rf dongle to plug into a standard USB port. Haven't tried it for distance while tablet is pluged into a t.v. But rf frequency ranges are acceptable. It has one rocker key which has four arrows on it for cursuor control rather than 4 separate keys. It is wonderful and accurate. I strongly recommend this wireless keyboard to any of my touch typist friends and my wife loves it. For a former secretary to give that recommendation should be taken seriously. I am sure there are other keyboards out there. This one's price, layout and key spacing are its prime attributes. It is very light and solid in nature. Battery life is good, since we both have been using these for several months, now, with the initial pair of batteries we put in when we brought them home.

I enjoy typing on this keyboard. I feel as if it fits my hands perfectly I am a very fast typist and it did take me a few days to get used to the keyboard given its a little smaller than most but I love it I don't like big bulky keyboards or keyboards with the number pads so this is the perfect fit for me. An added bonus is that it is wireless so I can move it however I want and not have to worry about cords getting in the way or looking hideous

This keyboard is really cool and works well. I also purchased the curve mouse at the same time but was very disappointed to find out that the two are not compatible as far as the usb receiver. This means I have to have two usb's plugged in while using both.

I bought this to replace the factory keyboard when it started missing keystrokes. I didn't need the calculator section and wanted to be able to type in my lap. This wireless keyboard was great for my purpose. The only problem I have is my tower is on the floor and I'm using a rear USB port and it stops working sometimes until I move closer to the receiver. Otherwise, I love this wireless keyboard.

Takes a while to get used to the smaller size. I miss the numbers on the right, but am getting used to going "old school" and using the top of the keyboard for numerals. Sometimes the keyboard quits and I turn it over, remove a battery, put it back in and it is fine again.

Soft touch keys. Made for laptop but works nicely as a desktop keyboard when desk space is limited; no separated number pad but overall nice responsiveness and quality. Comes with travel case.
