I’ll open by saying that I love absolutely everything about the design and feel of this controller. It is (or was) my favorite XBOX controller that I have ever owned. The translucent body and green accents are absolutely gorgeous in person. It feels incredible in the hands. The rubber grips on the back make it comfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions. BUT, I have owned this controller for 5 months and it’s already defective. The left analog stick is dead when pressing up. This has rendered the controller useless. Inconveniently, the Microsoft warranty is only 90 days which is disappointing and pitiful. Further, it is nearly impossible to even contact Microsoft about getting it repaired or replaced. I reached out to XBOX Support on Twitter, but they were not helpful and slow to respond. In short, this is a great controller, but you may want to get the warranty on it, even at the egregious price of $20 for 2 years of support.

It's the best looking controller I've ever owned. The translucent grey shell on the front, with green and black accents throughout the controller, make for a great look. Plus, with it being the 20th anniversary edition controller, there's really no going wrong here.

I love this controller. It's the size of your standard Xbox controllers but it has a nice green rubberized grips on the back. This is my main Xbox controller and has held up very well in the year I've owned this.

It’s been several years since I bought a new controller so this one has been a treat. Love the new features like share button, textured triggers and especially the rubberized grip (a game changer for an intense gripper like me). Absolutely adore the translucent plastic front but I wish it went around back as well. The green accents are perfect Xbox flair. One thing to note is that it is not compatible with my third party charging packs and dock. It seems the battery cover of the series x|s controllers has a differently shaped clipping mechanism than on the Xbox One controllers. This does not seem to be an issue with newer docks and battery packs though.

Excellent controller. I’ve had those for years and it still works well. Love the design of it!

its a normal xbox controller but slightly better, the finger grips feel really good, should be standard of all xbox controllers.

I don’t know what changed or if I got lucky but this has been the best Xbox controller I’ve owned thus far. Looks awesome, no weird stick drift, no complaints.

Amazing limited edition controller. The pictures don't do it justice and you won't be able to fully appreciate it until you are holding. Bug it if you're on the fence.

Using this for PC gaming. The rubberized grips make a small difference in feeling. You get a more tactile grip, but it’s same Xbox Series X controller. If you are a fan of Xbox, you might appreciate the 20th anniversary theme more than I do. Honestly I thought this was the Halo Infinite edition, but it still looks cool, being able to see inside at the circuit board. And after gripping for one year my previous blue controller, I needed a new one because drift was becoming noticeable. I was surprised it lasted me that long.

I love the looks of my Xbox controller, 20th anniversary edition. I'm very happy with my purchase. I own 3 xbox controllers, this is my favorite so far.

Best replacement controller I have purchased. The grips on it are fantastic, and the rubber in the back of the grips makes gaming more comfortable. Ergonomics are great. The controller sits better than the regular Xbox One controller and it’s off brand competitors. The buttons are solid and responsive. The trigger buttons feel better than other controllers by far. Wish it brought a rechargeable battery pack, as it should have been included for an item in this price range.

The 20th anniversary edition controller is pretty darn neat. It has OG xbox vibes, and is hands down the coolest controller my wife and I have.

This controller was designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Xbox brand. Really great looking controller.

Got this since it was the 20th anniversary of the original Xbox. I like the feel of this updated controller for the Xbox Series. I actually use it for my Xbox One S because I broke the original controller. It feels a little bit smaller from the sides. If you have broad shoulders, you might have some discomfort for long gaming sessions. The price was a bit high, but the global goods shortage and the pandemic gives manufacturers an excuse to raise prices.

This controller isn’t any different than the others available for Series X, except that it comes in a special edition translucent black with some green. If you’re a long time xbox gamer, you’ll appreciate the look of the controller. It’s a nod at the original xbox controllers. The grip texture on the control is very comfortable to hold for a long gaming session. I love the look and feel of this controller and I think you will too.

Favorite controller ever. Looks beautiful and great texture on it. Over a year later and no drift whatsoever

It isn't special. It is about the same as a standard Xbox Series X controller. It just has a neat design. Not really special.

I purchased this controller when I was lucky enough to get an Xbox Series X console. The controller itself is nice compared to my older Xbox One original controllers. The thickness of the controller seems smaller and the controller has stippling on the back so you can maintain your grip during longer gaming sessions where your hands may sweat a bit. The see through nature of the controller is also a cool feature.
