Customers enjoy the ease of use and the inclusion of Outlook and other applications like Word and Excel. Many appreciate the reasonable price and the software's compatibility with various operating systems. Positive feedback also highlights the straightforward installation process and the overall performance. However, some customers express a preference for a one-time purchase over a subscription model and note the absence of Publisher in this particular package.

I bought this Office program because I wanted Outlook and Office Home and Student didn't come with it. I do like Word better in Office 13, but so far, Office 16 is fine.

I bought Office Home and Business 2016 so I only had to pay for it once versus renewing a subscription every year or so. It was cheaper in the long run. I still get the customer service I need when issues arise, which happened several times. The first was because I had a short-term version of the software that had to be removed in order for my new software to work.

The Updates to Word and excel are good. The main problem is that I bought this package because of the addition of outlook, only to find out that outlook doesn't work. Fix is suppose to be coming. I haven't tried it but rather found a way around it. Buy the version without outlook or buy this one and hope it works later.

I think if you purchase a Microsoft machine it should come with office software. I think this is more of a money maker and allows Microsoft to sell the machine at a competitive price with iPads. To get a USB port you have to get this product and then Microsoft sticks it to you with the software purchase. The software is great, I just don't like how Microsoft traps you with the software costs.

Once downloaded you get fully installed Office 2016 versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook. A very powerful software package that provides all you will ever need for your home office needs! I had used the 2010 version of Office at my job for several years and this software is much slicker. For example, in Excel the software now has an option where it will ask you what you would like to do and it will help you create whatever you need, be it a table, a filter, change settings, etc. This same option is available in all of the different software products. The product suite also includes One Note, which is new for me since apparently this was added after 2010. One Note is a place to keep track of things and make notes for things to do, plan trips, shopping lists, etc. Microsoft also provides mini training videos to help you get familiar with the products. Pretty awesome! I think overall, this is a very powerful productivity suite of products that should address all of your home office software needs!

Office Home and Business 2016 works as I expected it to. It meets my needs and even though I don't get new bells and whistles for the applications I'm not paying a yearly fee either for something I will use until my computer falls apart.

If you want high-end performance this may be the laptop for you. Stylish and lightweight with top performance specs. Intel Core I7 with 16 GB Cache and graphics co-processor with 512 GB DRAM provides plenty of punch. 13 inch touch screen with reinforced hinges allows for flat or table use.
Consult Lenovo or Best Buy for performance specifics.

The Gold Standard in Productivity Suites

The product itself is fantastic, and has long been recognized as the flagship of productivity software. A few recommendations though. First, Microsoft dropped Picture Manager after Office 2010, which disappointed me because it sufficed for most personal photo editing chores, was easy to use, and precluded me from having to buy pricey photo editing software for the most basic of photo editing. Secondly, Home & Business (and higher) are the only versions with Outlook. Thirdly, the Home & Business price has become too steep for a lot of small businesses, and that has driven quite a few people to Open Office. Lastly, Best Buy stores don't offer Office 2016 on an install DVD, which would be of great help to those who have to deal with speed-of-glacier network speeds.

Yes I only really use Word, but there are those rare occasions when I have to open someone else's document and at those times having everything that comes with Home Office & Business is nice to have. It is reassuring to know it is there in case I have to use it. Every computer I have has it.

I runs good. Works better than previous version of Microsoft office I have used. However, if Microsoft Windows 10, if start menu isn't working, the office program will not download properly. The icons are missing and the full program will not run correctly. Windows 10 needs to fix its glitches.

I have worked with MS Office for many years. Although I do not see a large difference between versions (exception of Power Point), it has been easy to work with and install. Works great for my business needs. I don't appreciate the higher costs though as the product stays up to date.

Appears to be working well.... I always encounter issues with application and operating system upgrades because of feature changes, which require retraining. Downloaded and installed easily -- very nice. Expect several updates, transparent, with the exception of some restarts.

I have used Office for several years and wanted to stay with it when I purchased a new Dell desktop from Best Buy. Converting documents from an older version of Office was easy and quick. I have had no problems with Office 2016.

I've used Microsoft Exchange Server for several years and always dreaded the complex server settings necessary to get Outlook Mail up and running. Now all you need is your e-mail address and your password. Outlook does it all. End of story.

Great version of the classic Office product. I feel it is clearly an upgrade from previous versions but nothing monumental. This is an expensive version to buy outright but you should consider a subscription which has a lower up front cost

We jumped from Microsoft 2010 to 2016. I love the enhancements to Powerpoint and word. It's taking us a while to get used to the new Outlook. Miss the old contact/address file. Taking a while to get used to...just like anything new.
