I was used to excel and word 2007 so 2016 is a bit more sophisticated but I am getting used to the new features. For my needs it is OK

I opted for the 2016 version instead of Office 365 because I didn't want to continuously pay for Office year after year. Since Office 365 is a subscription, you'll always have to pay for it. In three years you will have paid more in subscriptions than it would have cost to just buy this... and then you'd have to keep subscribing/paying for this. I don't think that Office will have any jaw-dropping, must-have new features in the near future (they just came out with this). I don't want to be paying for Office five years from now while still using the same "normal" functions that I typically use at home. As far as Office 16 goes.... it's Office. It's like 2013... or a little different from 2010. Nothing too groundbreaking unless you still use 2007 or you do a lot of technical things that most people don't do from home (unless you take work home or work from there).

Just needed the basics of Office; Word and Excel . I didn't need access, outlook, etc. This was the best way to avoid an annual fee. Also since this is a standalone system, I didn't need OneDrive. DropBox could be a solution if I ever need that. If you are upgrading from Office 2004 or earlier, it will take some getting used to. The menu items and icons are moved and takes more clicks to get to some of them. Only con for me is the animation. Every letter typed in Word shows up by way of animation instead of just showing up. It is taking a while to get used to. My brain and typing are faster then the animation and I think I'm making typing mistakes but I'm just waiting for the animation to catch up. I'm sure it is a setting I can turn off.

I installed Office 16 on my 12 inch MadBook, both the Apple and Windows versions. I have Windows 10 and of course the Apple El Capitan installed on the laptop. This way I can use both systems for my job as an Online Professor. I mainly use Word and Power Point. Sometimes there are many updates, making me wait for up to an hour for them to install. So far I am happy the way Office is working.

It's Microsoft Office, you get exactly what you'd expect. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote; everything you need.

This product was surprisingly simple to set up and get going on. It also happens to be easy to use and there are very useful features when you want them, but these are not in your face if you don't care about them. Great experience for all levels of experisetce and offers many more features than similar products from google, so it is well worth the price.

Advanced so much in Word and Excel. That is what I use more. Easy to install.

I love the newness of office 2016. Word, PowerPoint and excel are excellent

I have many files I need to access and this software lets me do that with out having to resort to starting up my old Win XP computer to work with WORD and Excel files. And, this is a one time pay and stays always on my computer.

I need the MS Suite of products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint primarily. Who doesn't? The Asus laptop all-in-one had this included. Deal breaker if it wasn't. It is performing exactly as expected and I'm quite happy with this version!

Software is great addition to windows 10 Wor Power Point and Excel are great to have with Windows 10

I like the word & excel programs, but I'm disappointed in the fact that you have to buy it and pay for it EVERY year and if you don't, it's erased and you lose all your files. Unfortunately, I need this program to keep records - as do most people. It should come standard on a pc.

Rather than having to renew the subscription to Office every year, I preferred to purchase the package as I've done in the past, which, over time is also less costly.

Had the Micrsoft Office installed and ready to use by the staff at Best Buy. Returning home I was excited to begin using the program. It is wonderful and so easy to use. The new edition has much more options to use than the previous one that was on my older computer. With my new computer and new software I am very pleased and confident in using both.

This is a great product for people who use it for personal or school use. It is not really meant for business use, buy the professional for business use. I use Word, Excel, Powet Points l lot, and it has not failed me.

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There were many available at the store. Performance: It is a downloadable content so internet connection is required (the faster the better). Once it has downloaded, it is relatively easy to install, just follow the few on-screen instructions. It will do a second download (small) once is installed in order to do a final activation your product key. And the best thing? Its yours forever, you don't have to renew or re-buy it again. Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door and helped me to contact the correct employee at the right area for getting my product, which I did quickly.

At first, I was taken aback by the cost of the software. However, because I use Microsoft products on a regular basis for both business and personal needs, it was worth paying a one-time fee for life-long use of the product without having to renew every month or every year. It is easy to use and has nice features. I would recommend.

If you don't need Office for business, don't need more than the fundamentals of Office, this is the package for you. It does most everything I've used before in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. AND it's much less expensive than the higher level of product that has capabilities that you probably don't need.

I purchased the microsoft office edition it comes with word powerpoint and excel
