The Office Home & Student 2016 package has been great for my needs in using Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and PowerPoint presentations. They've been easy to use for my home use needs.

Ask yourself if you really need more horsepower than Microsoft Home Office and Student offers. If you are word processing and populating the occasional spreadsheet, the answer is probably not. This package doesn't include Outlook but that's why Google created G-Mail. Save the money and skip the frills.

I bought this because I needed to have Word and Excel for my work computer. I kinda wish I had purchased Office 365 though so I can use it on my other devices as well. Some changes from Office 2010 apparently, finding out as I go along. Nothing too drastic, but change nonetheless.

Why pay $50 for a one year subscription when I paid $150 for a lifetime subscription? This is my go-to application for document preparation and spreadsheets so I had to have this suite of programs. It was so easy to install and worth the money. Highly recommend.

this is a great by for portable lap tops & for family member computers who do not require a lot of technical projects or work to be done. because this can be used for such an extended period of time with no obligation of yearly payment it was perfect for us.

I finally upgraded from word97 to office2016. And I'm glad I did. It's very user friendly. I love how it keeps list, double checks you before deleting stuff, exiting, etc. You will love this program. Mine came in a bundle with, office, excel, one note, & power point. Love it!

Because we upgraded from a much older version, we are still experiencing the learning curve with this product. It is not necessarily intuitive but with some exploration we are able to find the feature that we want. We have to do quite a bit of experimentation to learn this product but overall have been pleased with it.

I chose this as it has Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote - all that I need for home. I don't need Publisher, Outlook, or Access. Great price point.

I don't know about you, but I am a fan of the older Word versions rather than the 360. I feel this gives you all the features you are use too have and they are easy to find. This product doesn't require a subscription, which I like. I am use to buying word and that's it rather than pay a fee annually.

What can I say, it is software. I had no issues installing it and all features appear to be working as designed. I would be nice if the software was included with the PC purchase, but really not a big deal. One last thing It is a good deal to purchase the one time office version, not the yearly updated one that would cost you way more in the long run. I also found that I could contact Mircosoft and transfer this software to a new machine after removing from an old or busted one. Thought someone might find that useful.

Hi, This is not the forst time I bought a microsoft product. However it’s the first time that I purchaed this type. It’s simple priced right. No subscription required which makes it more economical. Easy to install.

I didn't want to worry about subscriptions or recurring billing. Id much rather install a program on my computer. This one allows me to use Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. It includes OneNote, but I haven't used it before.

My wife and I both did extensive research reading reviews and discussing performance requirements with friends and family members with I.S. expertise. After weighing out the pro’s and con’s to ensure objective decision making and narrowing down our choices for our new computer and the version of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook that would best meet our needs we went to BestBuy. The associates at our local store were outstanding in helping us to make our final decision and we could not be more satisfied with our purchase of MS Office Home & Student 2016. The entire family uses this version of Microsoft Office on our new computer and it exceeds our expectations with performance, ease-of-use and online support!

This product is all I need for my home office. It has Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as many other features. It is easy to use.

I haven't updated my computer system or software in eight (8) years so seeing how the technology and software had change was both new and amazing. Although there was new things add to the MS Office suite of programs, mainly the change in the look of the application, there was still lot of old familiar procedures working. Matter of fact I was surprised that I didn't have to learn much to get busy again with my work (I mainly use Word and Excel a lot). My old files transferred over easy and came up in the software with no glitches or changes to the old data files that I would have to make. Talk about saving time and work. This was fantastic! Still feeling my way around with applications but I think I am falling in love with this software. Great for small business, research work, etc.

I got excel, word and power point, but NO Publisher. Why??? Is it not included?

Everything you need on a daily basis. Word excel and PowerPoint. Better than the one with the one yr subscription

I could not be happier with my Office Home & Student 2016. It has so many features that I use every day. It would not be impossible to do as many things as I do without this helpful tool.

I have used MS Office since it started and it has gotten better and better over the years this newest version has continued the tradition. I like this over the 365 because this way it is mine and I can use it as long as I want.

Good deal. Its even better to get this and not having to pay for the yearly subscription!
