I brought this because my Mac no longer supported the version of Word on my computer after I upgraded my operating system. The installation was easy and quick. It took me a little while to get accustomed to the formatting and find the functions I was looking for, but after a few days, it was no problem. Having word makes using my Mac so much better. I also got it for my MacBook. I gave it a four only because I think they should allow more than one download for this version with each purchase. The ones that allow multiple downloads are only temporary subscriptions.

Microsoft office is great to have at home to help you with any kind of presentations for a job or kids reports. It also have templates to help guide you through powerpoint, excel, word, & more. If you need help with budgeting its a great tool as well. I must say a bit pricey but it pays off in the long run.

We got a great deal on the software since we purchased a MacBook Air. You will need this software if you want excel, word, PowerPoint and one note on you Mac.

Like previous versions, this software is very functional and gets along reasonably well with Mac OS. However, (on all 3 of my machines) it does crash from time to time, and because Microsoft tech support is hard to contact, I find that I just work through it instead of wasting hours on the phone. Overall, this software is just what you'd expect from Microsoft.

Microsoft Office 2016 works great for my MacBook Pro. It's nice to have work, excel & powerpoint with my Mac!

After working on a Windows machine and using Open Office for ages, it is amazing to have Office for Mac. Everything is so easy. I can transfer documents between work and home with no issues like I had before, and I get all the updates as needed. I know that with my job, I could not work efficiently without this program.

This kind of software is not necessary for the MacBook but it makes it easier for my daughter to use for college. I guess we basically live in a windows world but my question is why? The software works very good and like anything you need to figure out how to use it effectively to get the best results.

This product is the same exact product as the windows version. I used it all the time with my windows computer and once I purchased the Mac computer I bought it for this computer as well. I also love it because it was a one time purchase and didn't need to subscribe every year to it and pay.

The toughest part in switching from a Microsoft Computer to an Apple is Microsoft Office...great news si that they make the software compatible for the Apple. Adding this to my Apple computer made it the perfect combination. Easy to use and same as using these programs on my old computer

After working with pages on my Macbooks for five years, it was time for a change. I finally broke down and bought office home and student. It's awesome that it is just one fee and it will stay on my Mac forever. Easy to set up and easy to use.

Purchased this package for new MacBook Air for my daughter. Very easy to install and has all the software she needed for her college courses. This package was a good value. I would recommend it for anyone who needs all the basics for school and everyday work purposes.

Great product for high school and college students, with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, but I think Outlook should be included as part of Office package and not have to be purchased separately.

Gives plenty of the extras worth the money and an only one-time purchase...gives resume's formats which I am currently using...and also includes Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, and finally Word. Essential for any work for life or school.

Didn't realize the one I bought didn't have outlook. Dang it. Decided I mainly wanted excel so it was definitely a small learning curve on a Mac compared to a Windows pc but so far so good. Have not tried to create any workbooks from scratch on it yet but I don't think it would be any issue. So far I have used worksheets I made on my PC and changed coding and added/ made changes and haven't ran into any issues! Bought this for my first MacBook

Better documents software versus the programs preloaded on MacBooks. More intricate detail for Excel and Word and PowerPoint.

if someone is not using outlook than ms office for home and student has all what you need... word, excel, PowerPoint and one note... with good compatibility on mac
