This is an essential for all Mac users. Almost all organizations use Microsoft Word. If you are going to be compatible with everyone else in your company or school you cannot turn in work with Open Office.

Office home and student is a must for all Macs. Excel, Word, and any other feature is a must.

My biggest aversion to a Mac product was the lack of functionality with traditional Microsoft products. The purpose of purchasing a personal laptop was to use the Office suite. Many reviews say that Office does not work well on a Mac. Well, this version certainly does. In the few weeks I've had the Mac I've created a full business plan including spreadsheets and Word docs. Works great!

Without this it makes my life more difficult. Excel and word are part of my everyday life

Have Microsoft Office on my iMac; wanted it on my new laptop.Mostly use Word & Excel.

I bought this with my new computer. I was debating if I wanted to purchase the new version or install the 2010 version on my new laptop. Decided I wanted the new version and am very pleased with my decision. I have not yet dug into every little aspect as I do not use it as much as I did when I was in school, however improved design and functionality makes it even more organized and user friendly.

The new updated version is a little different so it's taking me a bit to find some things. But otherwise it's great! I use it for class notes, and papers and it does everything that expected. I also really like that it remembers where in the document I was last and takes me to that page, so that I don't have to search long documents for the area I was working on.

Easy to use. Great for a graduate student. Runs well on MacBook Air.

Comes with PowerPoint and word. All you need without having to pay a yearly fee.

Buying office for Mac is not really necessary as Apple has it own program. It’s just a matter of choice if you really want it or you just used to be doing your work in Office settings. Why I bought this though is just to have an office in my new MacBook and also I don’t need a yearly subscription and buying it in Bestbuy always lower than any other seller.

So far, this has met my expectations and does what I need it to do. I do like that I received an update notice letting me know it was time to update the software. I don't recall getting those types of notifications before with Microsoft. The layout of the programs look nice on a MAC and operate in the same manner they would on a Windows PC. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Before I purchased, I had read so many things about bugs and issues with install that I was hesitant to pull the trigger. As it turns out, it runs wonderfully on my MacBook air. It's a tremendous step up from the previous version of Windows on Mac, which would take forever to open and often needed force quit to close. A perfect way to use Office files on Mac.

I love having a Mac and it works out well for my musician husband but I need Microsoft office for spreadsheets, word documents and other needs. I am so grateful to have it. Purchasing it was quick and easy. I picked it up in the store which is close to my home which was also quick and easy. The software uploaded efficiently and I have had no problems with it.
