Good item, but a bit heavy

inexpensive surface

The only issue with it will be getting any accessories like a otterbox, or something similar. Does it work well for the price sure.

Buyer Beware this IS NOT NEW Its Refurbished
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is not a NEW product even though it states it is, and when you filter on "new only" it still appears with the new product, and when filter is on Refurbished they show only a Pro 3 as refurbished. It arrived today clearly marked as refurbished with no pen either. Given that it's several generations old and it's a great price for the I5 128 GB it was probably over optimistic that they would actually have "New Old Stock" but it's not unheard of. The good news is it looks as good as new and the BB guys at the local store assured me my Geek service still covered it and they were kind enough to give a discount on a accessory to make up for the lack of a pen and confusion. I hope they correct the site ASAP as this really is incorrectly advertised as new, and at least folks could decide on the value proposition based on refurbished. So far I like it's performance and capabilities.

NOT NEW!!! REFURBISHED!!!! WARNING!!!!

The price seemed good for a new unit, but on a refurbished one I think it is quite a bit over priced. I would not recommend buying this! Very unusual for Best Buy to have this big of a discrepancy between what is advertised and what they actually ship you.
